Sinclair Renewable Energy | Solar Installation Port Stephens & Newcastle

I recently had solar and a battery installed by Sinclair Renewable Energy, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the experience. I originally found them through Solar Quotes and reached out for a quote. Louis called me promptly to get some details, sent through the quote quickly, and then arranged a time to come out to my house to talk through the solar and battery setup in person. He was incredibly informative and generous with his time, answering all my questions and helping me understand the options. Once I decided to go ahead, he managed to fit me in for installation the following week so I could get everything installed before the May 1 battery rebate change, which I really appreciated. I was also still sorting out my financing at the time, and Louis even offered to proceed with the installation while I finalised it, which was such a thoughtful and trusting gesture (thankfully I got it sorted in time so I didn’t have to take him up on it!). On installation day his team were fantastic. It rained quite a bit and the job ended up taking about half a day longer than planned, but I was amazed at how much they managed to get done while working around the weather. The finished job looks really neat and tidy, and my dad, who already has solar, is very jealous of my setup! Overall I’m extremely pleased with Sinclair Renewable Energy. I’ve dealt with a lot of trades recently, and it was honestly refreshing to work with someone reliable who communicates well and doesn’t need chasing. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sinclair Renewable Energy to anyone considering solar and batteries.

Louie and his team are awesome and I couldn’t recommend them more highly. Louie spent generous time with us to come and quote the job, explain the systems available, educate us on what the best options were for our current usage and then amend things when I kept changing my mind! Nothing was a bother and no question was seen as “too silly” to ask. The install was booked in so quickly and the actual job was smashed out in 2 days. They took care of everything and after they left you couldn’t even tell they had been! The team were punctual, respectful, clean and went above and beyond to explain what they were doing and if I was going to be disturbed e.g. needing to turn the power off for a few hours. We are so happy with our solar+battery system and the follow up care we have received too. It’s not like we are flying solo - we know we have Louie and his team there if we have any other questions or concerns! Absolute legends - thanks again!

Sinclair Renewable Energy have just installed our SIGEN batteries. Louis and his team were great to deal with. Louis was extremely easy and professional (in a relaxed way) to communicate with. He advised well and accommodated our needs and our existing solar panels. His team worked hard all day, by the end of which we had a great system very neatly installed.
