Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 24 May 2026

SureQuote Pty Ltd ("SureQuote", "we", "us", or "our") operates a platform that helps homeowners describe trade jobs, receive guide estimates, and connect with local tradespeople for quotes. These terms apply when you use our website, intake tools, account pages, trade dashboard, profile claim flows, lead services, messages, or related services.

By using SureQuote, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. What SureQuote does

  • Helps homeowners describe jobs across multiple trades and receive guide price estimates.
  • Matches quote requests with relevant local tradies and trade businesses.
  • Provides tradie-facing tools for lead review, lead purchase or claim, wallet activity, profile management, and customer communication.

SureQuote is not a builder, contractor, trade business, employment agency, insurer, broker, or party to the work agreement between a homeowner and a tradie. Quotes, site inspections, contracts, work quality, timing, pricing, payment for trade work, warranties, and disputes are handled directly between the homeowner and the tradie.

2. Estimates and AI-assisted information

Estimates, pricing ranges, AI summaries, recommendations, credential signals, and directory information are guides only. They may be incomplete, out of date, or based on assumptions. A firm quote should come from a qualified tradesperson after they review the job and, where needed, inspect the site.

You should check licensing, insurance, credentials, references, scope, exclusions, timing, and written quote terms before engaging a tradie.

3. Homeowner quote requests

  • Provide accurate, current, and reasonably complete job information.
  • Only submit genuine service enquiries for properties or jobs you are authorised to discuss.
  • Do not upload unlawful, misleading, offensive, unsafe, or third-party confidential material.
  • Respond respectfully to tradies and make your own decision about whether to proceed with any quote.

When you submit a quote request, you ask SureQuote to share your contact details, job details, location, photos, messages, estimate information, and related job material with relevant local tradies so they can assess, quote, discuss, or perform the job. If you started from a tradie profile, the profile business may receive your details and other matched tradies may also receive the quote request where the flow is designed to obtain comparable quotes.

4. Homeowner details and lead use

Tradies must use homeowner contact details, job details, photos, estimate information and messages only to assess, quote, discuss, or perform the relevant job.

  • Tradies must not sell, redistribute, scrape, retain for unrelated marketing, add to unrelated mailing lists, or use homeowner information for any purpose unrelated to the specific job unless they have their own lawful basis and any required consent.
  • Tradies must comply with privacy, spam, telemarketing, consumer law, licensing, advertising, and record-keeping obligations that apply to their business.
  • If a homeowner asks a tradie to stop marketing or non-essential contact, the tradie must respect that request where required by law and good marketplace conduct.

5. Tradie accounts, profiles, and verification

  • Tradies must provide accurate business, contact, licence, insurance, service area, ABN, payment, and account information.
  • Tradies must keep profile, availability, pricing, service area, and credential information current.
  • Tradies must only claim or manage a profile, business, or location they are authorised to represent.
  • Verification, licence, insurance, and trust signals are not endorsements or guarantees of future conduct or work quality.

6. Lead access, credits, and payments

SureQuote may charge tradies to access or claim matched lead opportunities. Lead pricing may use prepaid credits, promotional credits, wallet balances, fixed fees, percentage-based fees, free onboarding incentives, nominated profile leads, or other pricing rules shown in the product or agreed with us.

  • Lead access gives a tradie permission to review and respond to the relevant lead under these terms. It does not guarantee a quote win, site visit, contract, payment, or job outcome.
  • Credits, balances, refunds, reversals, and promotions may be subject to eligibility rules, expiry, fraud checks, abuse controls, and any refund policy shown in the product.
  • Where Stripe or another processor handles payment, their terms and security processes also apply.
  • Refunds are available only where required by law or where SureQuote decides a refund, credit, or adjustment is appropriate under the applicable policy.

7. No guarantees

  • We do not guarantee that a homeowner will receive a quote, choose a tradie, proceed with work, or be satisfied with the result.
  • We do not guarantee that a tradie will receive a specific number, value, quality, location, or conversion rate of leads.
  • We do not guarantee that public register, directory, licensing, insurance, review, or enrichment data is complete, current, or error-free.

8. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Scrape, copy, resell, or misuse SureQuote content, directory data, homeowner data, tradie data, or platform outputs.
  • Submit false, misleading, unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, spammy, or unsafe content.
  • Bypass security, rate limits, access controls, payment flows, lead restrictions, verification, or abuse-prevention systems.
  • Use SureQuote to harass, scam, mislead, impersonate, or pressure another person or business.

9. Communications and marketing

We may send transactional messages about quote requests, leads, account access, claims, payments, security, support, and service updates. We may also send marketing or lifecycle communications where permitted by law. Commercial electronic messages will identify the sender and include or honour opt-out options where required.

Tradies must not use SureQuote homeowner details for unrelated marketing unless they have their own lawful basis and any required consent.

10. Privacy

We handle personal information under our Privacy Policy. That policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who we disclose it to, how homeowner lead details are shared for quoting, and how to contact us about privacy.

11. Suspension, removal, and enforcement

We may reject, limit, suspend, remove, hide, or terminate accounts, profiles, leads, messages, credits, or access where we reasonably believe there is fraud, misuse, non-payment, inaccurate information, safety risk, legal risk, platform abuse, or breach of these terms.

To report suspected impersonation, scams, illegal content, misleading claims, privacy or intellectual-property concerns, malware or spam on a SureQuote-managed website, use our central managed website report form. Do not send passwords, identity documents or payment details.

12. Disputes between users

Homeowners and tradies are responsible for their own communications, inspections, quotes, contracts, payments, job delivery, warranties, and disputes. We may choose to assist with support, marketplace safety, or record review, but we are not obliged to mediate or resolve disputes.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SureQuote is not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of data, business interruption, user conduct, trade work, quote accuracy, third-party services, or outcomes outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including non-excludable rights under Australian Consumer Law.

14. Changes to SureQuote or these terms

We may change, add, remove, pause, or discontinue parts of SureQuote. We may update these terms from time to time by posting a new version with a new effective date. If a change is significant, we may provide additional notice through the site, account messages, email, or another reasonable channel.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the courts with jurisdiction in New South Wales and any courts that may hear appeals from them.
