Second time I've had Seaside out to do some work. Initial call was returned promptly and they arrived within the hour. The work was completed quickly and to a high standard. When finished they cleaned up and left the area tidy. A great explanation was provided as to what had broken and how it was fixed. Very friendly and professional at the same time. Highly Recommend.

Absolutely amazing service 100% recommend. Made a phone call and clay was able to attend within 30minutes to warnbro. We needed our large front door lock fitted which was done perfect and he also cut 2 spare keys on the spot. Very professional and polite. Could not ask for a better service. Will use again in the future. Thank you so much for today.

I rang and booked a time for Clay to come out, he was there promptly and sent a text saying how long he'd be. The invoice was provided straight away also - very efficient, very organised, with good rates and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him (which believe me, I don't say lightly!). Thanks, Clay 🤗

Frequently asked questions

How much do locksmiths typically charge?
Costs vary depending on the job — a simple key cut or rekey is usually much less than emergency entry or full hardware replacement. This page shows live pricing for local providers to help you compare options. Many locksmiths charge a call-out fee plus an hourly labour rate and materials, and after-hours or emergency work generally attracts higher rates.
Do locksmiths charge call-out fees?
Call-out fees are common and typically cover travel and the initial assessment. This fee is usually separate from labour and materials and may apply even for quick or small jobs. It's worth confirming any call-out or minimum charge when getting quotes.
Do locksmiths need a licence in Australia?
Yes. Locksmithing is a licensed occupation across Australia, and in NSW licences are issued by the NSW Police Force — Security Licensing & Enforcement Directorate (SLED). You should expect a provider to display a valid state security licence number and to hold industry credentials such as MLAA, LGA or ASIAL membership, a Certificate III in Locksmithing, an ABN with GST registration and appropriate public liability insurance.
