  I recently engaged Shaun Melican to respond to a Building Notice I received from the Surf Coast Shire Council threatening to demolish my entire deck which was constructed many years earlier by a previous owner. Shaun's report to Council was brilliant. His depth of research, extensive knowledge of the Building Act/Regulations and attention to detail was exemplary. Council cancelled the Notice several days later. Shaun, just as importantly, is a very nice person and easy to deal with. I highly recommend him for any building services required.
