The installation team arrived early, were super polite, approachable and knowledgeable, and handled everything confidently. The workmanship is clean and thoughtful: cables run straight with neat bends, consistent spacing, and a layout that looks intentional rather than improvised. They concealed the cabling in matching channels for a tidy, low-profile finish with no loose ends or clutter. Equipment is positioned sensibly, with good clearances for maintenance and efficient routing. They showed good integrity throughout. When a roof tile got accidentally damaged, they let us know right away, apologised, and resolved it transparently. The site was left spotless, as they even vacuumed before leaving. Since the system went live, performance has been strong. Backup during brownouts is much smoother (no smart device resets anymore!), self-consumption is noticeably higher, grid import is down, and charge/discharge stays stable even on very hot Melbourne days. Overall, it operates like a single, well-integrated setup rather than a retrofit compromise. Handover was clear and helpful: the team explained the system logic and app monitoring in detail. Alex also managed our Green Energy Loan paperwork smoothly and followed up with a call the next day to check everything was okay and answer any questions. We recently had solar and a battery installed at our place and went with Brightworks Solar after getting a bunch of quotes. Honestly, best decision ever. They’re a family-run business with Alexandra handling sales and Anthony doing the electrical side of things. From the very first chat with Alexandra, it didn’t feel “salesy” at all – just genuine, helpful and super easy to talk to. She kept us updated the whole way through, even after install, which made the whole process stress-free. On install day, we had a pretty big job (44 panels on a double-storey roof plus a battery). A whole team of about 8 sparkies rocked up bang on 7am, got straight into it, and by about 3:30pm everything was finished, tested, and the site left spotless. Couldn’t believe how smoothly it all went. The professionalism, communication and just overall good vibes from Alexandra and Anthony honestly blew me away. I don’t usually write long reviews, but these guys really deserve it.
