Over all we are very happy with the end product we received. The contractors who installed the battery were excellent. They were friendly, knowledgeable and got the job done quickly. We received a very thorough proposal with good detailed information about the recommended product (solar battery). The one let down about the experience was the communication. A few things were unclear, our instal date was changed on the request of Symons without a reason given and then on that date no one showed up to the install. I called 2 hours after they hadn't arrived to get an ETA and then was told they weren't coming because there was a miss communication and the instal had to be rescheduled again. I will say that it was resolved quickly and we did get the battery installed later that week. Over all I would recommend Symonds because I'm very happy with the advice we were given and the end product, but it was a bit of a bumpy road to get there.

Very happy with the solar and battery install from Symons Energy. We're now using hardly any power from the grid and protected from power black outs. Looking forward to a much lower power bill going forward.

Kosta and his team installed a 15kW solar battery, a replacement DC inverter and a Catch Power relay back up system onto our existing solar system which now provides us cheaper electric from the supplier and a back up to our power sockets and lights in the event of a power cut. We chose the garage as the best location for the system and Kosta's team conducted a very clean and proffesional installation. Kosta did have an issue with the Catch Power relay, which couldn't be setup at the time of the install due to comms issues, but he returned the next day and resolved the issue.

Kosta came out and found that our inverter wasn’t working, and that our solar panels were either broken, or covered in mould and spores. He gave us a quote which we accepted and his team came out and replaced the system without fuss. Max, Jason and Enoch worked non stop and did a great job and then cleaned up the site. We highly recommend using this company as the process was easy and hassle free. Paul & Helen 😀
