Solar Chief

Installed a 6.6kW 3-phase solar system with Solar Chief and overall a very positive experience. Abbey was great to deal with and helped select the right system size, quality panels, and a reliable inverter at a very competitive price. Installation was completed within weeks of paying the deposit. The installers were polite, professional, and completed a clean, high-quality install. The system has been performing well since commissioning. One small improvement would be providing a clear upfront checklist covering approvals, documentation, invoicing stages, who contacts who, and expected timeframes. Solar Chief handled most of this, but having it documented would improve clarity and reduce follow-ups. Still waiting for the SolisCloud account to be set up, so monitoring can be done easily without checking the inverter manually.

I recently had my solar battery installed through Paul. My initial plan was to add additional solar panels along with the battery, but Paul provided excellent advice and suggested installing the battery first to see how it performs before investing further in extra panels. The installation was completed in just two weeks, instead of the usual four-week wait time. The electrical team that carried out the work was one of the best we’ve met—they did an exceptionally neat job and ensured all conduit and wiring installed was hidden. Excellent service and reliable team who does work in our absence at home and on holiday during Christmas. Good suggestion by their team to fix the roof tiles before installation of battery and once that is fixed immediately responded and fixed the battery.
