I have used MV Solar on two occasions now. The first was an extension to an existing system with more panels being added to my rooftop. Just recently I have added battery storage to the system to round it all out, along with an EV charging station. Communication was good throughout the process, with having to work around my shift work being catered for. The quality of the installation is apparent and I expect that my bills will be negligible and possibly even being in the positive, depending on whether I want to get in to the nitty gritty of energy wholesaling. Excellent company with top employees from the initial consultation all the way through to the final commission process.

I was really impressed with Mike Fox from MV Solar throughout the entire quoting process. He provided a competitive quote, was responsive to all my questions, and took the time to explain everything clearly — no pressure, just honest and helpful advice. It’s rare to find companies that treat you with this level of professionalism even when you’re still deciding. Even though we did not proceed, I really appreciated the transparency and the effort Mike put in, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mike and MV Solar to others looking for solar solutions.

We live in the Upper Hunter Valley on a bush block, a few hundred acres. Long before having our home built, we did the footwork of power access. We were looking at 4 power poles through adjoining properties at a cost of $155,000. It was then we looked at solar suppliers. We had our house plans, so it should have been a fairly easy process, so we thought. One business didn't return with a quote after initial contact. Another suggested power going back in to the grid. Tim from MV Solar came to where we were living, looked at the plans of the home we were having built. Discussed what we wanted from the off grid system (part of which was so that Hubby was able to weld), including any future electronic upgrades, air conditioning etc. The price included a large back up generator, so overall spent was far less than half the cost of being on the grid with the power companies. I have to say, having solar has been the best move we have made. We have all the mod cons that any grid connected home has. Hubby can happily weld. The back up service from the MV Solar team has been wonderful, and a few friends have used the company after our success. Definitely a 5 star service 👌

MV Solar was great to deal with, they were transparent with all costs and were prompt when I made enquiries. Prior to the installation they made sure I was well informed of dates and times of the work being carried out. The tradesmen who carried out the work were thorough, neat and efficient. Highly recommend.

Our 5 year old inverter died after a lot of water ingress (it clearly wasn't built very well). MV came out and inspected the old inverter and provided a good quote to replace it with a better inverter. The job was done quickly and the new inverter is so much better than the old one. The best part of it is the new monitoring software allows me to decide when to use heavy appliances without drawing power from the grid.

Absolute pleasure dealing with MV solar. My mother and brother both have MV systems and are very happy with all aspects of their solar systems. Start to finish was a breeze from dealing with the sales engineer to installation I couldn’t be happier. Thanks MV Solar.
