Tim from Shoreline Electrical SC replaced the exhaust fan in the kitchen. I sent him the photo of the old exhaust fan and he matched it. He was punctual and did a great job. Also got him to replace the bathroom 4 in 1 exhaust fan. Again did a great job and didn't take long at all. I would highly recommend Shoreline Electrical / Tim. Thanks for a great job!

Tim investigated and gave clear considered advice on a tricky situation regarding our ceiling fans. He arrived on time, was very professional and also very careful. Once work was completed, you would not know anything had been done. We would most certainly use Tim again and can highly recommend him.

Tim provides high quality work at a reasonable price. He is approachable and communicates clearly when organising the job and explaining the work he is doing. Our recent job included new fans, lighting and power/lighting to the shed. All was completed to a very high standard and neatly done. I strongly recommend Tim and will be using him for any future jobs.

Tim was more than willing to help out on a job most would turn down. I'm so grateful for him promptly taking my call and saying yes. He did an awesome job and is a great bloke. You won't be disappointed, he has an awesome work ethic and a great personality to boot. Definitely make him your first call for your electrical needs! Thanks again, you saved the day for me and given my other experiences you saved me for the whole of summer!!

Frequently asked questions

How much do electricians typically charge?
Costs vary depending on the job type, how much fault-finding is needed, and whether switchboard or circuit work is involved. Electricians typically charge a call-out fee plus an hourly labour rate, and after-hours attendance usually attracts higher rates. Check the live pricing on this page to compare local quotes.
Do electricians charge call-out fees?
Call-out fees are common and are usually charged separately to labour and materials to cover travel and the initial assessment. Some providers may also have a minimum charge for small jobs, so it's worth confirming any call-out or minimum fees when requesting quotes.
Do electricians need a licence in Australia?
Yes — electrical work must be carried out by a licensed electrician in every Australian state and territory, and in NSW licensing is through NSW Fair Trading. Electricians should display a valid state electrical licence number on quotes and advertising and will usually issue a Certificate of Electrical Safety on completion of work.
How do I get a quote from Shoreline Electrical SC?
