The installation of my battery went very well with Goodhew. The workmanship in the installation was first class, and the equipment came with excellent software which has made it very easy to manage. The company gave very useful technical service during the start -up and after receiving my first bill from Origin I am on the way to making the savings I expected.

Goodhew Solar carried out a fantastic job on my solar. I had to get my roof restored, and therefore had to get my 13 year old existing 5kW system removed. They carried this out in one day, installing all the new bracketry and cables for the new system. JMZ roof restorations then replaced over 70 broken tiles and refurbished the roof. Goodhew worked in extremely well with the roofing company, and then returned two weeks post roof restoration to complete the 15kW Solar and 40kW Battery installation. (not damaging any roof tiles) The system has not missed a beat and I no longer import electricity....but still exporting on average around 20kW per day. The system is currently generating on average around 75kW per day (Sept 2025). I highly recommend Goodhew, as they were very professional, the installation was tidy, they recommended and installed quality products, and completed the work for a fair and reasonable price.

Goodhew is one of the best businesses we have dealt with. Service is fantastic and staff amazing in explaining everything in detail. We had a solar battery installed. We were kept up to date with arrival dates regularly. After service is great.

The installation was very professional and electrician/installer was informative and very courteous. It was a big job and went into the evening, however the attitude remained very polite and good humoured. We were very impressed. Will definitely recommend Goodhew.

Noticed that our 12yr old inverter did not seem to be working as it should back in November 25. It actually died two weeks ago so luckily I was already waiting for our new system to be installed by Goodhew. It was replaced yesterday by a team from Goodhew Electrical and I can't fault these guys. Matt, Brandon, Brodie and Dylan were extremely professional and worked as a great team all day to have it switched on at 4pm. Please note I had two other quotes from local Gold Coast businesses but fortunately Gav got Matt Shelley around who designed our system. Goodhew were the only company to send someone out in person to assess the existing system. For this reason other two systems quoted would have be way undersized for our electrical needs and would have cost the same. Thanks again Gav and your team for making this whole process so easy. :)

Once the blessed lack of batteries was sorted the system was installed and running in no time. I've installed what i think is a fairly large solar aray, 10 kw inverter and 22.4 battery. It's all running well ,my advice to anyone is if goodhew advise you install a big battery then take their advice. I'm very happy with the team that worked on my home. Especially the foreman running the install. He knows his trade. If the goods you choose are available, then Goodhew are a good mob. Jj
