After months of searching for someone to rewire a 100 year old copper and glass chandelier, I finally found Record Electrical. They were great! They also installed modern overhead lights and rewired three other vintage metal lamps. They came out to my house, which is in the mountains, on two occasions to get it right and charged me very reasonable fees. Highly recommend!!!

Just had James install a fully integrated fridge/freezer combination. He was a very professional and friendly tradesman, turning up on time and completing the job in a very efficient manner. I was put onto Record Electrical by the fridge/freezer supplier after I'd had a very poor experience with another Canberra repair agent and was very pleasantly surprised by the efforts of James and the team. James and his team did a fantastic job installing a range-hood above my bbq! James was great in the consultation process and quick to provide a value for money quote. James built a custom cement sheeted box to house the range, and he and his team installed the range within a week of providing the accepted quote. I was impressed with their timely and professional install of the range and some other electrical work they completed at my request. So much so, that I’ve also asked Record Electrical to upgrade my switchboard. I highly recommend James and his Record Electrical team for your electrical needs!

James and his apprentice, Bailey, were cheerful, efficient, responsive and flexible. They had a job to do and they got on with it while also being friendly and respectful. They looked out for naughty cats trying to sneak into spaces they weren’t allowed, they were careful with cleanliness and making sure the walls weren’t bumped or marked. I received a quote and it did not change after job completion. They took any little hurdles in their stride and just got on with it after consulting with the client (me). James uses an electronic quote, appointment and invoicing service and that makes it easy for you too.
