Aspect Windows

We ordered timber framed double glazed windows after our search found that most retrofitting/similar services didn't actually cost much less, at least that we could access. Having a little one and a drafty house this Winter was an eye opener which led us to Aspect. We did not have a carpenter so Aspect recommended James from Storey Carpentry who we used. I cannot overstate how happy we are that James was our installer. He was professional, punctual and was always happy to answer questions, of which we had many. Once he arrived to measure our windows we could tell that he cares about his workmanship. Apart from the technical side of things, James also told us that due to the access for one of our windows being quite high, we would want to paint that window ASAP unless we had our own scaffolding. Not only did James advise us to use his scaffolding to paint the outside of the window (would have been an absolute pain otherwise) he also came back, saw the below average job that I'd done and told me why that would fail in future as well as how exactly to fix it. He could've finished his work and left but he had the confidence and respect for the product and his own handiwork to give us extra advice, time and expertise. Needless to say the window is now looking pretty good. The windows themselves have been faultless since the day they were installed. The seals and hardware all look very schmick and operate smoothly, exactly as we ordered. The temperature stays consistent much longer, heater works much better and the noise from outside is very much softer - all as advertised. We're also very happy to be rid of the dangerous, older style glass just to make things safer for our child. I'm confident that these benefits will continue in our first Summer here. 5 star experience from start to finish.

We had double hung sash windows replaced in our Victorian cottage. It was complex work matching the existing windows, given the idiosyncracies of the old house, but James and Paul did a brilliant job installing them. The new Aspect windows look fantastic and in keeping with the period architecture. James was a pleasure to work with: punctual, painstaking with details, and very responsive.
