Luke was super easy to deal with, also very well priced. I called him to fix a fly wire and our slider door and he showed up the next day when he said he was going to. Thanks

I recently had Luke from SEQ Maintenance complete a few jobs around my home, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. He was professional, reliable, and took great care in ensuring everything was done to a high standard. It’s so refreshing to find a tradesman who takes pride in their work. I would definitely recommend Luke and will be using SEQ Maintenance again for any future work!

We were very impressed with Luke’s promptness, knowledge & skill. Nothing was too much trouble. We called only this morning for a quote for significant screen repairs for all the windows/doors in our investment property. Very efficient service! He came out this afternoon, quoted a reasonable price and went to work immediately. Did a great job. We’ll be recommending to all our friends/family. Such a relief to have the screens’ myriad of problems sorted and looking good. He also gave us great advice about other projects & we’ll be getting him back for other jobs.

Door Installation costs & guides

Frequently asked questions

How much do door installers typically charge?
Costs vary widely depending on whether the job is a simple adjustment, a standard internal or external door install, or work involving custom doors or frame modifications. Quotes commonly combine a call-out fee, hourly labour and materials, with after-hours or emergency work usually attracting higher rates. The live pricing shown on this page reflects current regional rates and the typical job bands for each type of work.
Do door installers charge call-out fees?
Many door installers charge a call-out fee to attend and assess the job, and this is usually separate from labour and materials. Call-out fees are common in the rate card, though they may sometimes be waived if substantial work proceeds; it’s worth confirming this when requesting a quote. After-hours or weekend attendance often attracts higher rates.
Do door installers need a licence in Australia?
Yes. Door installers generally need a contractor licence or registration in every Australian state and territory; in NSW the relevant authority is the Building Commission NSW (formerly NSW Fair Trading). Look for a valid state contractor licence or registration displayed on quotes and advertising, an ABN with active registration and appropriate public liability insurance.
How do I get a quote from ReScreen Pro (Flyscreen & Door Repairs)?
ReScreen Pro (Flyscreen & Door Repairs) lists phone or through their website on this profile, so you can contact them directly for pricing and availability. Share a short scope and photos to get a faster quote.
