The before and afters speak for themselves! From a dodgy backyard with a retaining wall one brick away from collapsing, a roof that leaked and plumbing lines full of roots that meant we saw our local plumber at least once every three months to the most beautiful space, a new roof that doesn't leak - we are so happy. ZJ was amazing from start to finish. The staff were great with their communication, attentive, lovely to deal with and we are so thankful to them all. We have loved using our new space to its full potential and we can't thank ZJ building enough - thank you to the whole team. Reach out to them if you've got ideas you need made into reality - you won't be disappointed.

Zak was super upfront about the feasibility of our project. Honest about cost, helping inform me about what I'd need to consider. We didn't make it further than preliminary consultation but the experience was excellent non the less. If we do decide to revisit this project or another I'll be coming back.

We had our new home fully renovated by the team at ZJ and we can’t fault them. They took our tired old house and turned it into a stunning home, giving us everything we wanted in the time frame we needed. Their communication, workmanship, professionalism and attention to detail was second to none and we love the results.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Zak, Amy and Collin from the ZJ Building team on bringing their branding, website, photography and videography to life. During that time and process, we got to know the team, their process, their values and the ethos they have behind their work really well. The care, consideration and thought that they put behind what they do shines through every part of their process, and you can tell just by talking with them that they're extremely passionate about making the experience of working with them an incredible one for their clients. While we haven't been a direct client, having worked with them over the course of almost 5-6 months, I can say with total certainty that I would recommend them to absolutely anyone looking for an amazing, thoughtful experience and an incredible end-result.

We had a fantastic experience working with ZJ Building during the early stages of planning our renovation. Amy was incredible throughout the whole process—knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely supportive. Her communication and professionalism made everything feel seamless and stress-free. Although we ultimately decided not to proceed with the build due to personal reasons, we were really impressed with the service, transparency, and attention to detail we received. Based on our experience, we would highly recommend ZJ Building to anyone considering renovations or building projects. A great team that clearly takes pride in their work.

ZJ Building was recommended to me. I had seen firsthand his previous work on a kitchen reno. Impressive. With Zak's knowledge and my design, the end solution was perfect! Very happy with the cabinetry, benchtop and work station in my craft room/office. It's now a pleasure to look at and work in :) Thank you Zak and Tim. Professional, prompt, super friendly and great communication. Highly recommend!
