I had an exceptional experience working with builder Terry and his site manager Dave on my project. They were professional, responsible, and incredibly attentive throughout the entire process. No matter how many questions I had, they always took the time to answer patiently and clearly. The project timeline was managed with remarkable efficiency, and the results speak for themselves. Friends who visited my completed project were amazed at the attention to detail and quality of work, commenting on how lucky I was to find such a dedicated team. In the post-pandemic era, where the construction industry can be unpredictable, it’s truly rare to come across builders like Terry and Dave who operate with such integrity and care. It took my wife and I eight years to find Golding Projects, and from our very first meeting we knew we had finally found the right team. They truly listened to what we were looking for, a skill that continued consistently throughout the entire build process. While the plans may have shown certain elements drawn in specific places, the experience and insight of Dave and Terry proved invaluable. They were always offering thoughtful suggestions for things worth considering that could improve the outcome. In fact, I don’t believe there was a single suggestion we didn’t end up implementing based on their advice. Handover occurred a full month early, which speaks volumes about the efficiency, communication, and partnership we developed together. We understood what decisions needed to be made and when, in order to keep things moving, and the constant communication made that process seamless and genuinely enjoyable. We also have a full set of progress photos, which we now love looking back on to see how the project evolved. We handed over at the end of October, one month early, and it was such a pleasure, perhaps more for us than for them , to have Dave and Terry back today helping us hang pictures. That says everything in that they go over and above what is necessary. Golding Projects in Dave, Terry, Sam, and their entire team of subcontractors are far more than builders. They are friends, and we have no doubt they will remain part of our lives moving forward. Words cannot describe what they have done to transform our home in St Peters which are Simply magnificent. After being back in our house for a year now we really get a chance to reflect on how far we have come from that point where we had ideas and a design and someone recommended that we "talk to Terry". We did reach out and what we found was a team that was a perfect fit for us in Terry and Dave (and the broader team). In selecting Golding Projects we were confident we had a great builder and someone that was just as focused on the best outcome for us as we were. During the project, what we thought was just a great experience was met with amazement when we would answer everyone's favourite question "how's the renovation going..??" and we would say great..!! their reaction of surprise was the most glaring reminder that our experience was not "the norm". The openness and communication from Golding Projects was awesome, we were always welcome with questions and visits and every question they had for us included context, information and when we needed it, advice and options. If I was not so happy with what we have ended up with, I would be out actively looking for an opportunity to do it all again. We have continued to recommend Golding Projects to anyone that is looking at building or renovating and this review is going out far and wide to make it easier for that person that was where I was a couple of years ago, stuck and not sure, and we just happened to be lucky enough for someone to tell us to "talk to Terry". We built our stunning family home with Golding Projects in 2021 after a friend recommended them to us. Terry worked with Di Davidson from 4D Design to plan a bespoke sustainable home which takes full advantage of the north facing rear and double glazing. The building process was simply stress free. Terry and Dave have exceptional communication skills, we were always consulted about the unavoidable delays that occur when building during a pandemic. More importantly we had the privilege to select everything we wanted in the home progressively, without the pressure of selecting everything at the beginning. Terry used a network of excellent trades to complete the build. Furthermore we had access to the build from the very beginning, which allowed us to build our 'dream shed' at the same time Terry and Dave were building our home. We thoroughly recommend building with Golding Projects, we have been blessed to work with Terry, Dave, Will and his team of trades to build our dream home.
