TuCasa Constructions

Recently we had our downstairs bathroom renovated by Jaco and his team, together with some minor alterations to my Art studio. I would have to say that the professionalism, quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout the whole process was second to none! Jaco was in constant communication with us to ensure everything was to our utmost satisfaction. Over the years I have had a few builders from a complete home construction to various renovations and I couldn’t make any higher recommendation than TuCasa Constructions. In fact, we are looking forward to engaging Jaco and his team again soon for our next project.

Jaco was the supervisor on the rebuild of our home, which was done during Covid. He came up with practical solutions to issues that our architect hadn’t considered. We were more than happy with the results. When we heard that he had branched out on his own, we decided to go with him to install a second kitchen. The work completed was on time and within budget. We recommended.TuCasa to our sister/Inlaw, when she needed to replace her bathroom Jaco and his team did a fantastic job. If any of our friends need any building work done We will certainly direct them to Jaco and TuCasa.

TuCasa was fantastic! Right from the start, Jaco put us at ease with how down-to-earth, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable he is. We had TuCasa tile our bathroom and kitchen, and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was done perfectly and on time (especially since I was 9 months pregnant). We’re super happy with the result and can’t recommend them enough!!! We’ll definitely be getting them back for more work in the future!

TuCasa Constructions were engaged by me to repair a serious build fault in my home resulting in extensive water entry and consequent serious damage from an elevated paved patio area adjacent to a large external glass wall of floor to ceiling doors and windows. A number of builders had looked at the problem and in effect said "too difficult to fix". Enter TuCasa - (to cut a complex probem short) nothing was too hard. From the the considered explanation by their friendly rep Christian and his brilliantly designed solutions, to the helpful assistance of Jeanette in faclitating contract arrangements, the no-nonsense and effective overcoming of disastrous weather intervention by Jaco during work proceedings, and last but by no means least, the superbly meticulous craftsmanship of Marc and his two assistants Felicity and Dylan - well, Tu-Casa excelled in all aspects. Costs were flagged in the signed contracts ahead of time, so there were no unpleasant shocks in that department. To wrap up; TuCasa - highly recommended by a very satisfied client.

Jaco and his team look to give the client a very honest price to do what is requested. They do not underprice jobs and then seek variations, which makes managing large renovation projects very difficult. Jaco always takes calls or calls back very quickly and provides information over and above the specific work scope. I want to also call out that Jaco takes great care with the welfare and safety of his team, which is reflected in the way they work together and take care of the site (it is always clean!). Jaco's great strength is his logistical brain - how he problem solves on the job and adjusts what is required as it goes. I am genuinely looking forward to working again with TuCasa soon. Gavin

We hired Tucasa to fix our brick wall in our carport, which was getting dangerously close to falling down. Jaco & his team were efficient yet thorough and provided a number of options to us before the work began and then again throughout the project when any issues arose. Jaco is an extremely meticulous and knowledgeable builder who we trust for any construction project in our home, be it big or small.
