Max did an excellent job of purchasing and replacing my old 1970s vinyl kitchen tiles with new ceramic tiles in one day. He was very professional, trustworthy, reliable, prompt and thorough, only requiring minimal instructions from start to finish. I will definitely use him again and will recommend him to all my family and friends.

Frequently asked questions

Do tilers charge call-out fees?

Call-out fees are common to cover attendance and the initial assessment. This fee is usually separate from labour and materials, and small repairs may still attract it. After-hours or emergency visits are often charged at a higher rate, so confirm call-out and availability terms when requesting quotes.

Do tilers need a licence in Australia?

Yes. Tiling work generally requires a licensed tradesperson in all Australian states and territories, and in NSW licences are administered by NSW Fair Trading. Ask to see a valid state tiling or building licence number on quotes or invoices, and look for industry credentials such as Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling, a White Card, public liability insurance and an ABN with active GST registration.

How do I get a quote from Tile Surface?

Tile Surface lists phone on this profile, so you can contact them directly for pricing and availability. Share a short scope and photos to get a faster quote.
