He explained everything clearly and helped us choose the right battery solution for our needs. Installation was done on time and very neatly. Since installing the battery, we’ve noticed a big improvement in energy efficiency and savings. Highly recommend them to anyone considering solar batteries.

I would like to comment on my experience with the company, particularly my dealings with Vinnie. Overall, I had a positive experience from beginning to end. I won’t pretend everything was perfect — there were a few bumps along the way during both the installation and the post-sale support — but Vinnie excelled in handling them, and in the end a positive outcome was achieved. This is what separates a great company from just a good one. Many companies can install a system, but what really matters is how they respond when issues arise. This is where Vinnie demonstrated a truly professional attitude and approach.

Outstanding Service Yet Again – Thank You Solar Lyght Back in 2010 we had our first 6 panel solar system installed. Ten years later, we approached Vinnie at Solar Lyght for a 20 panel upgrade, and the quality of service was impressive. Now in 2026, after being approached by an Eastern States company with only an 18 month old ABN, offering a 13.3 kW system, I decided to check with Vinnie before committing. I’m glad I did. Within a couple of days he came back with a better option and pointed out an important detail the other company missed - due to gas piping, the system would need to be installed elsewhere. A very good catch. While we were discussing options, his installation crew contacted him about a compliance issue on another job and were unable to proceed there. This turned out to be our lucky day. For around $2K more, Vinnie was able to offer us a 25 kW battery system, and his team could install it that same day. I left for an appointment and by the time I returned, the crew were already on the roof. That night, we were running entirely on battery power - charged from the 6 year old panel system Vinnie had installed years earlier. Since then, the system has been performing beautifully: fully charged by day, down to around 20% by morning, even while running air conditioning, fridges, the spa, and more throughout the night. We are extremely pleased that we went with the 25 kW system instead of the 13.3 kW option. Our next upgrade will likely be an electric hot water service once the gas unit reaches the end of its life. Could not be happier with Vinnie and his crew. Professional, honest, and incredibly efficient — and in our case, a same day installation by pure good fortune.
