I would like to thank the Team at MLEC Solar and particularly Ruben for their excellent service and after sales correspondence in the sale and installation of my domestic solar electric system. From the very beginning every aspect was fully explained in a friendly, non pushie and relaxed way with constant contact informing me of updates and information ensuring a smooth and pleasent experience. The finished product was better than anticipated with the installation team showing a fast paced and very professional service, completing what seemed a complicated installation in just a half a day. Jake and his Boys did an Awesome job installing our New 5kw system and Batteries and Removing our Old System from shed (Sorry about the Paper Wasps) under the Panels, they did well to get them off. Very Professional Team and Great Workmanship by all Very happy Customer

The most important thing is the staff all work for MLEC and it's a local business with very patient sales department that don't pressure you or try and sell you a product that's not necessary. They were also happy to have multiple long conversations about the pros and cons of different options and didn't need to do a site visit to quote because they knew what they were doing. I've had two installs from MLEC and both times I got plenty of quotes from other companies before going ahead with MLEC. The first was in 2023 with a replacement of an ancient solar system that was only producing 24 units a day with a new 3 phase system that can make 90. Unlike everyone else they didn't try and tell me I needed an expensive switchboard rebuild which made their price far cheaper. I also really like where the panels ended up - you can't see them from the street where other installers planned to just plaster them everywhere (north east and west). The north and west orientation suits our usage so they put thought into both the aesthetics and our needs. We've recently had a 20kW battery installed and again MLEC were the only company not trying to push us to replace the two year old inverter and rebuild the switchboard. While I was waiting for the install I had a few salesman contact me and noone could come close to the price because they all wanted to replace the inverter. I actually had a salesman from another company tell me the benefits of the MLEC planned setup over what they were selling.and they couldn't do UPS for anything near the quote. Ben was also extremely patient with all the changes in political promises and rebates and issues with getting VPP approval. We ended up getting a cheaper battery without the state VPP rebate and are much better off for it. So far we are 92% self sufficient - only drawing from the grid when we run two stories of air con overnight. Finally the installers I've met are all top blokes! And I'm very happy with the quality of the installations.

Could not be more impressed with our whole experience from start to finish. Complete professionals who explained everything clearly and ensured the process from enquiry to installation was seamless. The trades who attended for the installation were very polite and tidy and kept me informed throughout the day. We had one minor booking issue which was sorted out quickly and I was made to feel like a valued customer instead of a number. Highly reccommend MLEC.

I recently had a solar system installed by MLEC, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. From the initial consultation with Gus to the final installation by Dylan and his team, everyone was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. And thanks to Elzette for coordinating and confirming the installation date, and to Jake for coming out to install the bollard afterward. The team took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and completed the work on schedule with great attention to detail. The system is working perfectly. One small suggestion: please consider leaving the protective film on the LED screen, as some families (like mine) really enjoy peeling it off themselves — it adds a little sense of ceremony and satisfaction 😊. I highly recommend MLEC to anyone considering solar – excellent service and top-quality workmanship!

Salesman Ruben started the experience really well, then the installers did a great job installing the system and were really accommodating and helpful in finding an appropriate place for the battery.
