The service, and support provided by Solargain/Solar 360 Hastings from the quoting process to the solar selection, installation and handover was exceptional. Our first contact was with Will who provided a very comprehensive and detailed quote based on our electricity usage, costs and future expansion. We found their pricing to be very competitive and they had a comprehensive selection of solar products enabling us to select the products most suitable to us. Their Customer Service was excellent in every aspect, after signing they notified us of the installation dates and details of the removal of the old solar system and the installation process for the new system. On the two days of installation, they texted us advising of their time of arrival each day which was very much appreciated. The installation went extremely well, Alex the Installation Manager and Tom, the Supervisor and his team immediately removed the old system and then commenced installation of our new solar system. Both Alex and Tom were absolute gentlemen, resolved some concerns I had regarding positioning of the battery and back up power to my satisfaction, they were very professional, polite, knowledgeable and very customer orientated, their expertise and attention to detail and high quality work was greatly appreciated. It was an amazing installation job, we were completely satisfied in all aspects of the high quality of work which also included the upgrade of the switchboard. At handover on the second day Tom explained every aspect of the working of the solar system, the inverter, battery operation and the backup power, he was very meticulous in making sure I completely understood the operation of the system. We are completely satisfied with the products we selected and the manner in which our solar system was installed especially the professionalism, quality workmanship, communication and customer service. The second level independent inspection was carried out three days after the installation was completed which was very expeditious. Overall this has been a very pleasant experience for us and we are completely satisfied that we decided to engage Solargain/ Solar 360 at Hastings for our new solar and battery installation. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Solargain/Solar 360 Hastings for purchase and installation of Solar products we will certainly be going to Solargain/Solar 360 again for any future solar requirements we may have. Outstanding Experience with Solar Gain 360 – Highly Recommended! I recently had a large 18kW solar system installed on my roof by Solar Gain 360, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The system includes the lightest and most efficient solar panels available, and I was fortunate enough to be one of the first in the area to receive the Tesla Powerwall 3 battery as part of the setup. From the start, Will from Solar Gain guided me through every step of the process. He helped tailor the system to meet my exact needs and made sure I had access to the best available technology. I also had a Zappi charger installed so I can conveniently charge my electric car directly from solar power. Thanks to this setup, my home is now almost completely self-sufficient, and I’m significantly reducing my reliance on the grid. We also installed their own Solar Gain hot water system, which has been fantastic. It easily supports our entire household, including a granny flat on the property. Everything integrates seamlessly and is managed through easy-to-use apps that let me monitor power generation, consumption, battery status, and car charging – even when I’m not at home. One of the standout features of the system is the automated blackout protection. If the power goes out, the Tesla Powerwall 3 instantly kicks in and keeps the whole house running. It even monitors the weather – if a storm is forecast, it intelligently charges itself from the grid to ensure backup power is available. The installation process was quick and professional. A team of eight arrived and completed the entire system in just over a day – efficient, clean, and respectful throughout the job. The aftercare has also been fantastic. Any time I had questions, they were answered promptly, and if follow-up was needed, I always received a timely response. In February 2020, Solar 360-Solargain installed a 5.5 kW solar power system at our property. Recently, just a few days before Christmas, the system stopped exporting power to the grid. I rang Alex at Solargain who very quickly and efficiently organised Ash, an electrician from Solargain, to visit us to investigate the problem. Ash quickly identified a small component failure, and later that day returned with a replacement part. What impressed me was the fact that no spare part was in stock at the time and in order to avoid having to wait for a part to be sourced from the manufacturer, Alex went out of his way to find us a part which was then installed by Ash.
