There are hordes of solar installers around these days, and it's hard to know how to choose a reliable one. We had a system installed in Canberra some years ago, but we moved away and needed to find a new installer. We started out using the Solar Quotes people to get a shortlist of reliable ones in our area (Tura Beach NSW). We decided on Pacific Solar, and their local installer Josh Stanton. First class result. You can save money going for a cheap "Dodgy Brothers" system and it may well suit your needs, but we went with a LG panels + Tesla battery system. We're very happy with every aspect of the process. Josh is an excellent electrician and did a fine job of installing everything and getting it up and running. Minimum fuss, maximum result. Pacific Solar are very responsive and easy to deal with.

Pacific Solar installed an 8.51kwh system on our NSW South Coast home. Their customer service was excellent, from Renee in Admin/Sales to Josh and the team for the installation. We reviewed several installers as well as panel brands and inverters/micro-inverters. Pacific Solar were knowledgeable, friendly, gave us realistic expectations and didn't hassle us after our initial enquiry. They answered all queries we had and provided us with several options. The system was installed all in one day, with the installation crew all being respectful of our home and even cleaned up after themselves (better than it was before they left I think!) We'd highly recommend them.
