Future Friendly Solar

Future Friendly Solar installed our 5kwh Solar Panels and Inverter in late 2019, and in January 2026 they upgraded our system with a Tesla Powerwall 3 (13.5kwh) with whole-house blackout protection. 100% recommend them for both. Read on below for more details as to why: - Professional - Simon quoted us on both occasions and was super professional in his approach. No hard sales tactics, talked me out of a battery in 2019 (100% the right call - FITs were much higher back then, technology wasn't as advanced), and worked through pros and cons of the different installation options - Knowledgeable - you can tell these guys know their stuff. When I asked questions, Simon would always be thoughtful with the answers. Solar is tricky, and no two solutions are the same - it depends a lot on how (and when) you use power, where the panels can go and how they can install it as cleanly as possible - Third-party commendations - when getting our solar panels commissioned, the inspector came in and I overheard him say to his apprentice "Guy and his crew did this job. Look at the spacing, look at the straight lines, even though no one can see this bit - have a look how perfectly they have done this" (not verbatim - it was 7 years ago now - but you get the gist). - Great communication - when we said "yep let's go", the quote was sent, explanations given for the STCs and discounts (and the government subsidies), expectations set on what would happen on the day, what we needed to do in preparation, the commissioning process etc. No surprises. - Loyal Customer - Simon then remembered our place for the subsequent battery install 6 years later and recognized us as "valued customers" - Over and above - we had to move a fridge and freezer in the garage to install the battery. The team came prepared with a trolley and moved everything around (and then back) for us - Clean and tidy workmanship - you don't need to know what they are doing but you can tell they care about how their installations look once completed. They then made sure that the spaces were clean and tidy afterwards, including sweeping up debris and taking away all rubbish from the installation - No issues - our solar system is still pumping out 5kwh on a sunny day. Never missed a beat.

We've been using Future Friendly since 2012 when they installed our first 5kW system. From then we expanded to a10kW system, more panels and higher capacity inverter in 2021 and at the end of 2025 another 9 kW of panels and a Sigen 48kW battery storage system with EV charger. For 13 years we've used Future Friendly because they take the time to discuss all the options with us. They respond to any questions, queries and concerns. They give us a quote and start date. They arrive on time to start the job using quality fittings and products. They finish on time, do a quality job and clean up. They followed up on all my queries promptly, installed the system on the day promised and removed the old system. Guy and team made a real effort to change roof tiles so all looked tidy, and installed the inverter inside the garage. Cleaned all up before they left and explained how all worked incl. installing the App etc. Future Friendly Solar was recommended by a friend and being a local company they do look after you. Top service, very impressed!

Guy and the team have been great! They installed our solar panels a few years ago and were amazing so naturally when we were discussing getting a battery we called Guy to discuss our options. The whole process was fast and easy. Installation day came and the team were courteous and professional throughout. Even helped me out with a question about my dad's solar.

Excellent service. Installed panels many years ago and now a battery. Solved all the issues regarding siting of battery and running of cables to minimize any unsightliness and did a great job of cleaning up afterwards….and it works a treat.

We had new solar panels installed a year ago. All the work was completed in one day, including ‘disposal’ of the old panels. The new ones are so much more effective. And, we haven’t paid an electricity bill since. We are so happy with these solar panels!
