Geoff recently upgraded our solar battery system and inverter. As others have said, his pricing is very transparent. His quote is line by line and lists costs on equipment and installation. This is very different to other suppliers. We had an existing solar system installed in 2019. In 2024 we had our solar panels increased, a battery and inverter done under the Qld government rebate scheme by an another installer. When we got the report back from GSES, there was a couple of concerning issues relating to the original system. It was noted the installer had been advised to contact us, but they had not done so. Geoff spent some time going through this report, fully explained that these issues were consistent with practices at the time, but were readily fixable. We did have concerns with the capacity of our system and the old solar inverter, so decided to upgrade, particularly after the rain event earlier in the year. Not being impressed with our previous installer for a number of reasons, we obtained a number of quotes. Geoff’s was much cheaper. In fact it was so much cheaper that I called and asked if he’d forgotten something or made an error. He found this hilarious. We might have still be concerned that it was too cheap, but I’d had several phone calls by this stage and was prepared to back my character judgement. The installation process went smoothly; it was refreshing to have someone who was more than happy to explain any questions we had and provide more knowledge about the system than we had known previously. Geoff did a fantastic job installing our new solar and battery system! Fantastic price and very prompt job. When we recently had storms he also messaged us out of the blue explaining he had changed our battery system over to emergency use as opposed to our usual nightly use of it which was splendid! Highly recommend!
