I chose Barra Solar to install batteries at my premises in Townsville. I was very impressed with the depth of knowledge, and the helpfulness (and patience) of Jody, the operative who handled my many, many questions and numerous call backs. That was a considerable factor in my initial decision to go with Barra Solar. On the day of the install, the technicians arrived promptly and efficiently installed the solar batteries, connected them to the solar system in the manner which ensured maximum benefit, both in terms of minimising any reliance on the grid, and effectively reducing future power bills to $0. They also assisted with installing an app on our phones to enable remote monitoring of the batterie’s performance and ensuring we could use the app properly. Definitely recommend Barra Solar …….. 10/10. 👍👍

If I could give these guys 10 stars I would. The team at Barra Solar are the best around. The provided all the information to us for our solar and battery install. We had talked to a few areas and we felt these guys were the most genuine and helpful. They promptly helped with any warranty issues we had with the equipment. Always willing to walk us through things and made sure everything worked properly. Really happy with the service and products they provide, highly recommended.

Great local business, I got an 11KW solar system installed in Jan '24 and was thrilled by the service and product. I contacted Barra again for an addition of a 9.6KW battery system in Jan '26 and couldn't be more thrilled with the end result. Swapped to Tarriff 12E and have daily energy costs of about <$3/day now. Highly recommend them for your solar and battery solutions. Great customer service and always follow up with customers to ensure they are happy with the installation.

Great company to deal with. Everything was streamlined through their quoting portal. Communication was great; a phone call a week out from install, and an SMS as they are leaving the workshop on the day of install. Tim was a great tradesperson, was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The team members were courteous, when bring materials through the house to access the ceiling space.

My husband and I are so happy that we chose Barra Solar Power. James patiently adapted the various changes in design,(because we kept changing our minds).The team that did the installation were very efficient and courteous. And the office staff was very helpful and a delight to deal with. We would highly recommend this very professional company.

The personal service provided by James was excellent. He was happy to come out and answer any questions we had and also guiding us through the entire process until completion. Easy to contact for any follow up questions as well. Great company to deal with and locals as well.
