We had Eddie out to complete a pest spray on our property and he went above and beyond to help us. I wasn’t home at the time and he found keys and helped sort cats so they were secure for the duration of the spray due to me not being home. Nothing was too much trouble and I’m so impressed. Thanks so much, see you for the next spray when we’re due 🙂

“ I contacted the team at Rockypest after finding evidence of termite infestation in our home. An inspection was promptly arranged and when completed by Rob a Director of Rockypest, confirmed it. Rob clearly explained what needed to be done to eliminate the termites and safeguard our home from future infestation. A comprehensive written report was provided and we chose to have the treatment Rob recommended. The treatment was carried out by Rob and his son Chase both of whom worked a very hard and long day to complete the work. Rob has just completed a follow up inspection and confirmed the elimination of the termites. As a Rockingham resident I always try to find local businesses when I need professional work done in and around our home. I have no hesitation in recommending Rob and his team for their professional, efficient and thorough approach to dealing with Pest Control. 5 stars.”

We recently engaged RockyPest for a pre-purchase timber pest inspection and were very satisfied with the service provided. The inspection was thorough, the communication was clear, and the report was delivered promptly. While there was a small miscommunication involving a third-party building inspection, the way it was handled by the director, Rebecca, truly stood out. She responded with honesty, professionalism, and integrity—taking full accountability and helping to resolve the matter amicably. It’s clear that RockyPest genuinely values their clients and operates with transparency and care. We will gladly consider them again for any future pest control needs across Perth and recommend them to others looking for a reliable service. — Raiden, on behalf of RR Professional Services

Frequently asked questions

How much do pest controllers typically charge?

Costs vary widely depending on the pest type, how extensive the infestation is, property access and whether follow-up visits are needed. Most pest controllers charge a call-out fee plus an hourly labour rate, with materials and repeat treatments adding to the total. The prices shown on this page update live to help you compare current rates.

Do pest controllers charge call-out fees?

Many pest controllers charge a call-out fee to attend and assess your property, which is usually separate from labour and materials. After-hours, weekend or emergency attendance often attracts higher rates. It's worth confirming any call-out or minimum fees when requesting quotes.

Do pest controllers need a licence in Australia?

Yes. Pest control work generally must be carried out by a licensed pest controller in every Australian state and territory, and in NSW licensing is administered by the NSW Environment Protection Authority (NSW). Providers should display a valid state pest management licence and often hold industry credentials such as AEPMA membership or PestCert accreditation, public liability insurance and an ABN with GST registration. Many also provide a written service report and chemical usage log after treatment.
