Josh from Pest Proofing Solutions was fantastic to work with. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. He did a thorough job, paid attention to the details, and made sure the problem was fully addressed rather than rushing through it. On top of that, he was friendly and respectful, which made the whole experience stress-free. I’d highly recommend Josh and Pest Proofing Solutions to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality pest control service.

The best we have found in the region. Honest, friendly and respectful. Josh and his team made sure all inspection has always been done thoroughly and educated us about any concerns and what needs to be done to avoid any problems especially with termites. Thank you again Josh and Team! Highly recommend. It’s very hard to find a team that is honest and supportive about your home and keeping it pest free.

Josh, Gemma and the team at Pest Proofing Solutions not only offer a fantastic service with our yearly pest protection plan, but they have also helped with removal of possums in our roof, kept rodents out of the shed and made sure termites aren't in our area. Josh also provided a termite barrier to our new extension. Sure they provide all these services but it is the passion in which they do it that keeps me a loyal customer. Thanks team!

Frequently asked questions

How much do pest controllers typically charge?

Costs vary widely depending on the pest type, how extensive the infestation is, property access and whether follow-up visits are needed. Most pest controllers charge a call-out fee plus an hourly labour rate, with materials and repeat treatments adding to the total. The prices shown on this page update live to help you compare current rates.

Do pest controllers charge call-out fees?

Many pest controllers charge a call-out fee to attend and assess your property, which is usually separate from labour and materials. After-hours, weekend or emergency attendance often attracts higher rates. It's worth confirming any call-out or minimum fees when requesting quotes.

Do pest controllers need a licence in Australia?

Yes. Pest control work generally must be carried out by a licensed pest controller in every Australian state and territory, and in NSW licensing is administered by the NSW Environment Protection Authority (NSW). Providers should display a valid state pest management licence and often hold industry credentials such as AEPMA membership or PestCert accreditation, public liability insurance and an ABN with GST registration. Many also provide a written service report and chemical usage log after treatment.
