Scott has been looking after my lawns and gardens for the last 6-7 years by mowing, lawn edging, trimming trees, spraying weeds and fertilising when needed. I have a large corner block and passersby have comment on how well my lawns are maintained. I always acknowledge Scott's excellence and am more than happy to recommend his services.

Scott has been looking after my lawns for over 7 yrs now. Always reliable, honest if you're lawns don't need mowing that week, he will say so and reschedule, maintains your lawns beautifully with regular fertilising and weeding. Quite a few of my neighbours commented on how good my lawns look and now have Scott looking after theirs! Very reasonable prices for the great care your lawns and garden receive, highly recommended!

Landscaping costs & guides

Frequently asked questions

How much do landscapers typically charge?
Costs vary widely depending on job type and complexity — a tidy-up is typically much less than a full makeover or structural retaining wall. Materials, labour hours, site access and any required design or engineering work usually drive the price. This page shows live pricing to help you compare current rates.
Do landscapers charge call-out fees?
Most landscapers charge a call-out fee to attend and assess the job, and this is usually separate from labour and materials. Hourly labour rates and after-hours or weekend attendance are often charged at higher rates. It’s worth confirming any minimum fees and what the call-out covers when requesting quotes.
When do landscapers need a licence in Australia?
Landscapers typically need a contractor licence or builder registration when work involves structural or building elements such as engineered retaining walls, footings or major excavation. Providers who undertake structural work will usually display a valid state contractor licence or builder registration, while smaller softscape-only jobs often do not require that registration. Check that any landscaper doing structural work holds the appropriate licence or registration.
