This is the third time we have used Certified Tree Service and as usual the service was fantastic. This time we had five cocos palms cleaned (old fronds removed as well as their huge seed pods) and two large palms taken down and removed. All aspects of the job were done professionally... from Daymian coming to personally inspect the site to provide a very reasonable quote, to the team arriving on the day - with the equipment, smiles, and a "can do" attitude. In no time at all, the work was done, logs and fronds put through the Chipper Chopper, our place was left spick and span. I particularly appreciated the live tracking ETA which informed me exactly when the team would arrive :) Thank you to Daymian and the team for the excellent work.

I contacted Certified Tree Services to do some stump grinding, they were really efficient and a fair price. My job was down a narrow side way but it was not trouble for Damien who showed up on time and left no mess. Great service I would recommend.

Daymian and his team did a great job removing a very large tree which had failed close to the house, on a sloping block with difficult access. They were on time, got straight to work and tidied up after they'd finished. Highly recommended.

It has been a pleasure dealing with Damien and his crew. We’ve used them three times. Each time they did a great job, and did it quickly, and efficiently. Everything was taken away and the garden left tidied up. We would have no hesitation in recommending Certified Tree Service. Mick and Betty Smith Terrigal

Daymian completed an excellent job with no fuss. His quote was reasonable and he arrived when he said he would. We will be calling him again for our next job.

Frequently asked questions

How much do landscapers typically charge?
Costs vary widely depending on job type and complexity — a tidy-up is typically much less than a full makeover or structural retaining wall. Materials, labour hours, site access and any required design or engineering work usually drive the price. This page shows live pricing to help you compare current rates.
Do landscapers charge call-out fees?
Most landscapers charge a call-out fee to attend and assess the job, and this is usually separate from labour and materials. Hourly labour rates and after-hours or weekend attendance are often charged at higher rates. It’s worth confirming any minimum fees and what the call-out covers when requesting quotes.
When do landscapers need a licence in Australia?
Landscapers typically need a contractor licence or builder registration when work involves structural or building elements such as engineered retaining walls, footings or major excavation. Providers who undertake structural work will usually display a valid state contractor licence or builder registration, while smaller softscape-only jobs often do not require that registration. Check that any landscaper doing structural work holds the appropriate licence or registration.
