Matthew and the team have been fantastic from start to finish. Took the time to understand my needs and provided me with the right advice and the right product at the best price. Some other quotes were literally thousands more for a lesser product. These guys get it right. Don't waste your time with anyone else.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If I could give 10 stars, I absolutely would! We had several companies and contractors come to our home for quotes, advice, and guidance. Marcus from Energypoint stood out from the rest. He visited our home, listened respectfully to everything I had to say, and offered genuinely insightful advice. He took the time to walk us through every option and gave honest, practical feedback. He even discussed additional work my husband and I had been considering and shared his thoughts on that too. What was meant to be a 10-minute visit turned into 45–60 minutes — and we truly appreciated Marcus’s commitment to making sure we felt informed and supported every step of the way. When it came time for the installation and switchboard upgrade, the crew delivered the same outstanding service. They were knowledgeable, approachable, and provided exceptional customer service — truly going above and beyond. Energypoint should be incredibly proud of their team. We’ll definitely be using Energypoint for future jobs and won’t hesitate to recommend them 100%.

Frequently asked questions

How much do electricians typically charge?
Costs vary depending on the job type, how much fault-finding is needed, and whether switchboard or circuit work is involved. Electricians typically charge a call-out fee plus an hourly labour rate, and after-hours attendance usually attracts higher rates. Check the live pricing on this page to compare local quotes.
Do electricians charge call-out fees?
Call-out fees are common and are usually charged separately to labour and materials to cover travel and the initial assessment. Some providers may also have a minimum charge for small jobs, so it's worth confirming any call-out or minimum fees when requesting quotes.
Do electricians need a licence in Australia?
Yes — electrical work must be carried out by a licensed electrician in every Australian state and territory, and in NSW licensing is through NSW Fair Trading. Electricians should display a valid state electrical licence number on quotes and advertising and will usually issue a Certificate of Electrical Safety on completion of work.
Does Energy Point have a verified ABN?
Yes. Energy Point has completed ABN verification on SureQuote.
How do I get a quote from Energy Point?
Energy Point lists phone or through their website on this profile, so you can contact them directly for pricing and availability. Share a short scope and photos to get a faster quote.
