Nathan was my main contact, and he has been patient, knowledgeable, and always willing to answer my silly questions, never once pushy or trying to oversell anything (Not your typical Sales Rep). I had a Tesla Powerwall 3 and a solar system installed by DQ Electrical. The whole process—from quotation to installation—was excellent and professional. A few days after installation, I experienced a Powerwall fault, but the team escalated it immediately and replaced the battery with a new one very quickly. Their after-sales service has been top-notch, and I’m totally satisfied with the system and their support. Highly recommend DQ Electrical.

I stopped giving reviews many years ago due to websites, (admittedly accommodation ones), choosing which reviews to publish. After first contacting DQ 12 months ago, and having a panels plus battery installation completed in February 2025, I now wish to express my observations and experiences. From the very first contact, the office staff have always been polite and efficient in putting me onto the right person to answer my concerns. The process of getting information for systems and quotes is simple. I found Steve very informative and a good advisor on which way to proceed. The installation crew that came from Adelaide to Yorke Peninsula were efficient, polite and kept you up to date on the process and progress, they left the site spotless and even took all of the rubbish and old panels for disposal. DQ Electrical strongest point is in after installation service, they are still there to help you out, the owner, Don, will even go out of his way to ensure satisfaction. My view is that this company will be around for a long time to come. The whole crew is really at their prime, have learnt their business skills over a decade and a half or thereabouts and are primed to continue successfully for another 2 decades My advice to prospective customers is to commit to these guys, I doubt that you will have any regrets. I certainly do not, evidenced by this review by an old bugger that stopped giving reviews years ago.

From the very first phone call for the quote until the end of installation, Steve and the team ( Ben, Michael,Callum,Caleb, and Patrick) did a fantastic job. They are skilled and explained all I needed to know and, more importantly, very friendly. System running as it should be with the battery. Though July is the lowest solar production month, I am still getting a decent output every day. Competitive price and local company doing business from 2009. Good mob 😀 , happy to recommend them.

Nathan Birch of DQ Electrical designed a solar panel system with powerwall (Teslar batteries). The cost was very reasonable, but the performance is beyond my expectations. A power outage in the district did not affect us. The batteries kept the household running. Once the system settings were checked, I have drawn almost no power from the grid but exported enough to put me in credit. The advice from DQ Electical was excellent and the installation team was competent and fast, cleaning up before leaving. I can recommend them with confidence.
