We (my wife and I) have known and using Andrew's electrical services for 8 years. Andrew is very professional. It can be hard to get hold of him at first due to his busy schedules, I suppose; but once you manage to get in touch with him, you will find that he's polite, punctual, responsible and deliver 5 stars workman quality services at the best valued price than any other electricians we have had in the past prior to having Andrew. Andrew listens very attentively to the problems and offer you first-hand pre-solutions based on his questions and advices about what you (clients/customers) can do, if such problems he believes can be fixed simply by him giving his advices. If all, fails the he makes times to come to your electrical problems: this means that, he does not simply jump into his working van as soon as he receives calls. the all idea is that he always try to make you save your money, if he believes that by following his advice on the phone you may succeed in solving your own problems and therefore he does not need to come to you: of course it saves him times as well to allocate to the next clients/customers! There was a time we were unable to get in touch with him to come and check some electrical problems. we engaged different electrician and he was good and in fact we consider him as an alternative whenever we are unable to reach out to Andrew. Andrew, with all his positive professional attitudes, will always be in demand as his clients/customers recommend his work services quality to others. Andrew, nonetheless, we will always keep him: in fact, we have a job for him to come and check and give a quote and do it in Shailer Park.

Andrew provides great service, diligent and keeps to appointments! Had my ceramic cooktop installed and even came back to ensure the adhesive tape required for the cooktop edges were fitted which I initially failed to provide. Highly recommended .

Frequently asked questions

How much do electricians typically charge?
Costs vary depending on the job type, how much fault-finding is needed, and whether switchboard or circuit work is involved. Electricians typically charge a call-out fee plus an hourly labour rate, and after-hours attendance usually attracts higher rates. Check the live pricing on this page to compare local quotes.
Do electricians charge call-out fees?
Call-out fees are common and are usually charged separately to labour and materials to cover travel and the initial assessment. Some providers may also have a minimum charge for small jobs, so it's worth confirming any call-out or minimum fees when requesting quotes.
Do electricians need a licence in Australia?
Yes — electrical work must be carried out by a licensed electrician in every Australian state and territory, and in NSW licensing is through NSW Fair Trading. Electricians should display a valid state electrical licence number on quotes and advertising and will usually issue a Certificate of Electrical Safety on completion of work.
