I recently had a solar and battery system installed by Energy Base in Mackay and couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From the very start they were incredibly accommodating with scheduling everything around my availability and were happy to incorporate a few specific requests I had. The installation team were polite, friendly, and respectful of the property, while the engineers clearly knew their stuff – everything was explained thoroughly and done to a very high standard. A special mention has to go to Jess in the office – always cheerful, extremely efficient, and kept me updated every step of the way with clear and prompt communication. It made the whole process stress-free. The Sigenergy (Sigen) system they installed is excellent. The app is intuitive and packed with useful features, and I love that Energy Base provides remote monitoring for any faults. Best of all, the backup power during outages kicks in seamlessly – we’ve already had a couple of blackouts since installation and didn’t even notice until we checked the app! Highly recommend Energy Base to anyone in the Mackay region looking for a professional, friendly, and reliable solar installer. 10/10 service from start to finish. Thanks team!

I can highly recommend Brendan, Bob and the entire team at energy base for any solar/home battery systems. This is the 2nd system Brendan has installed at my property, after 9 years the original system they installed was still working as intended and I was able to keep the panels and combine them for my new 18kw/40kwh Sig battery system. They were able to give me the exact system I asked for, communication has always been prompt and any enquire addressed immediately. Installation date was only slightly behind original estimate due to waiting on updated parts which was out of their control. The installation was fast and neat and everything was online and fully functional before they left. Our system has been working flawlessly for over 6 weeks since installation now, there have been some planned maintenance power outages by Ergon and we have never lost power, full off grid home backup, the A/C has never stopped. Energy Base installed my 15kW 3-phase system over a year and an half ago. I’m very happy with the system and their service throughout the process and well after installation. They were very helpful with answering any questions and were very accommodating when it came to specifics around the installation like solar panel placement. I had an issue with the smart meter after installation but they were persistent and maintained good communication until the issue was resolved. Pricing - they were very reasonable across the four quotes I received. Not the cheapest (second cheapest), but they did have the best price of all the local installers and were happy to customize their offer to suit my needs. Having local in-house installers was important to me as it provides an extra level of accountability for any issues that may arise post installation (which there have been none). I highly recommend the Energy Base team and may be back in future for a battery system.

Energy Base was the only company that took the time to sit down with us and clearly explain how the system works. Brendan and the installation team were incredibly polite and respectful, leaving our home exactly as they found it. No mess, no fuss. From the outset, Bob was great to speak too, explaining in detail about solar and quoting a system that would suit the needs that I was looking for. Brendan and the team was in constant contact about installation and delays that occurred, the installers were clean and professional. Couldn’t be more happier, receiving my first bill since having it installed and it is working as it was all explained it would.
