I am completing a sub-division development, a neighbor close to the sub-division came to speak to me one day, his name was Kurt and he mentioned he worked for EES and asked if we had an electrical contractor for the sub-division. Kurt was polite and informative and gave me his business card. When we were ready for get quotes for the electrical work I gave Kurt a call, we discussed the electrical work and met on site to walk through the requirements. Kurt proceeded to provide a quote in a timely fashion and ultimately we decided to go ahead with EES to complete the job. Like lots of developments we had a few delays and had to push back EES to a later date. Kurt was always very understanding and accommodating with the date changes. A week before we were to start the electrical work Kurt met me on site we went through everything again and EES requirements. The work was then completed, the team did an amazing job, beyond what we expected, not only did they complete the job in the agreed time and on budget, they also highlighted a few issues we had overlooked and helped us problem solve. The installation was done correctly and to a very high standard. All the way through the project we have dealt with Kurt and he has been of great support and help, flexible and professional. It is very hard to find good professional tradespeople, with EES the search is over. Thank you to Kurt and the team at EES. If you have any electrical needs (including developments, sub-divisions etc.) then I suggest contacting EES

Frequently asked questions

How much do electricians typically charge?
Costs vary depending on the job type, how much fault-finding is needed, and whether switchboard or circuit work is involved. Electricians typically charge a call-out fee plus an hourly labour rate, and after-hours attendance usually attracts higher rates. Check the live pricing on this page to compare local quotes.
Do electricians charge call-out fees?
Call-out fees are common and are usually charged separately to labour and materials to cover travel and the initial assessment. Some providers may also have a minimum charge for small jobs, so it's worth confirming any call-out or minimum fees when requesting quotes.
Do electricians need a licence in Australia?
Yes — electrical work must be carried out by a licensed electrician in every Australian state and territory, and in NSW licensing is through NSW Fair Trading. Electricians should display a valid state electrical licence number on quotes and advertising and will usually issue a Certificate of Electrical Safety on completion of work.
Does Exceptional Electrical Services have a verified ABN?
Yes. Exceptional Electrical Services has completed ABN verification on SureQuote.
