Recently had too purchase 2 split system air conditioners within two minths of each other. Came across Sam and Cool Elements, price was similar to others but the difference was that Sam asked for permission to come around and see the first one. He rang me back and advised that he felt I didn’t need the size I previously had that the new Mitsubishi Electric were much more efficient than the Daikin I had had, I was hesitant to change brands but he convinced me that Mitsubishi were a better product at this time. I went with his recommendation and couldn’t be happier with the install and the professionalism of his company, plus it appears to be a better product. When my larger split system went three days before Xmas , didn’t hesitate to ring Sam , he had it installed before Xmas and it was a game saver with the 40 degrees days over the festive season. Highly recommend Sam and Cool Elements to anyone needing an air conditioner.

Our ducted air conditioning blew up and we asked Sam to give us a quote for a replacement unit. Sam and Scott were able to come and install the unit a few days earlier than they scheduled. It was a very difficult job as the internal rooftop was a very tight fit, but the boys persevered and shoehorned it in and I must say without one grumble. It was up and running that night and Sam returned the next afternoon to fix up a slight problem with the existing ducting. We highly recommend Cool Elements and Sam's very professional work ethic.

I called Sam after our air condition had stopped working. It was over a heatwave and he understood the urgency of the situation, dropping everything and coming over right away. He diagnosed the issue and had parts ordered that day. He fixed the problem as soon as the parts arrived making the process as seamless as it could have been. I will be recommending Sam to everyone I know as he sets the standard for service and professionalism. Thanks again Sam

Sam & his team were unreal! They helped me ensure that my security camera system was set up to protect the property correctly and showed me pro's and con's of different options. Extremely tidy work and took the time to explain the entire system.

Frequently asked questions

How much do electricians typically charge?
Costs vary depending on the job type, how much fault-finding is needed, and whether switchboard or circuit work is involved. Electricians typically charge a call-out fee plus an hourly labour rate, and after-hours attendance usually attracts higher rates. Check the live pricing on this page to compare local quotes.
Do electricians charge call-out fees?
Call-out fees are common and are usually charged separately to labour and materials to cover travel and the initial assessment. Some providers may also have a minimum charge for small jobs, so it's worth confirming any call-out or minimum fees when requesting quotes.
Do electricians need a licence in Australia?
Yes — electrical work must be carried out by a licensed electrician in every Australian state and territory, and in NSW licensing is through NSW Fair Trading. Electricians should display a valid state electrical licence number on quotes and advertising and will usually issue a Certificate of Electrical Safety on completion of work.
