I wanted someone to fix the gaps all around my garage door as it brought inside dust, pests and heat in hot days. I would highly recommend anyone to this company “True Seal and Insulation” as their quality of work is highly commendable. The guy who runs the show is Chris Robinson and his work ethics are on the top. Professionalism, persistence and consistency is blatantly visible. He is quite efficient and deliver what was promised. He did a great job by blocking all the gaps from all around the garage doors. Anyone in need of service of this kind, consider this place as your first and last option. You will never regret it. I am a very satisfied and happy customer with the service provided and the professional standards maintained. Would recommend chris to anyone for the job he did at my place.

Door Installation costs & guides

Frequently asked questions

How much do door installers typically charge?
Costs vary widely depending on whether the job is a simple adjustment, a standard internal or external door install, or work involving custom doors or frame modifications. Quotes commonly combine a call-out fee, hourly labour and materials, with after-hours or emergency work usually attracting higher rates. The live pricing shown on this page reflects current regional rates and the typical job bands for each type of work.
Do door installers charge call-out fees?
Many door installers charge a call-out fee to attend and assess the job, and this is usually separate from labour and materials. Call-out fees are common in the rate card, though they may sometimes be waived if substantial work proceeds; it’s worth confirming this when requesting a quote. After-hours or weekend attendance often attracts higher rates.
Do door installers need a licence in Australia?
Yes. Door installers generally need a contractor licence or registration in every Australian state and territory; in NSW the relevant authority is the Building Commission NSW (formerly NSW Fair Trading). Look for a valid state contractor licence or registration displayed on quotes and advertising, an ABN with active registration and appropriate public liability insurance.
How do I get a quote from True Seal And Insulation?
