We had a fabulous experience with In-House Projects. Both the end product, and the professionalism of Dan and his team, went far beyond our expectations. We were first-time renovators with a clear vision of where we wanted to get to, but little idea as to how to get there. Dan gave us practical advice throughout the building process that helped us to vastly improve our initial plans without affecting our budget. When it came to costs, Dan was transparent, trustworthy and honest, involving us in any decisions that affected the budget and helping us to understand where we should commit money and where we could make savings. He coordinated all the other trades, including scaffolding, electrical and painting, to deliver highly professional work on schedule. Dan's experience and craftsmanship stands out in every aspect of the job, and we loved watching it come together. Throughout the three month project, Dan was absolute pleasure to work with and to have around the house. We can't recommend him and In-House Projects highly enough.

We engaged Dan at the very initial planning stage and right from that first house visit, Dan stood out from the many other builders we had met with because he was so genuine, very easy to communicate with and a complete professional. Now, after In-House Projects completed the raise, renovation and new first level build of our Queenslander, we are so thankful we engaged with In-House Projects because without the valuable input from Dan and his counsel at every stage, we would have ended up with a very different house (and not one we would have loved nearly as much!) As inexperienced renovators, we so appreciated Dan's integrity, patience and advice. Dan has invaluable building knowledge and experience and shares this knowledge generously. He brought to life our big and small ideas, always trying to find a solution when the ideas got out of the box and subsequently, created our dream home. Dan helped us do this all within a budget that was clearly explained and expected. Dan, Ruth and the entire In-House Projects team are a complete joy to work with and this makes all the difference when you have the building team in your life (and home for the most part) for nearly 12 months! If I could give 6 out of 5 I would! Just brilliant!! I can't speak highly enough of Dan, Ruth and the In-House Projects team. From start to finish, they went over and above to make sure they delivered a quality product and that we were 100% satisfied. We engaged Dan at the concept stage and are so pleased we did as his consultative approach and guidance really helped shape our thinking. As per other reviews, his advice as to where to spend money and equally importantly where not to really made sure we got the biggest bang for our budget. The pricing was very good (i.e. a great balance of quality and value) and we found Dan to be honest, trustworthy and transparent at all times. This included navigating the supply chain issues brought on by COVID and the Home Builder Grant boom. Dan's communication is outstanding. Ours was a challenging renovation with Dan inheriting various issues which didn't always become apparent until the walls were open and the full extent of issues was evident. (If you've done any renovating - you'll know what I mean.) Dan patiently explained each issue, the options and his recommendation to resolve it. We felt confident and well-informed throughout. In-House Projects is a local, family-run business with Dan and his brother Tom having learned their trade under their father Kev. The family vibe runs through Dan's IHP team who are clearly all well-chosen as they are polite, professional and prioritise the little but important things like turning up on time and doing what they say they will. They're a happy team that get on well and are a pleasure to have around the place. While it's still obviously a jobsite to them, they understand it's your home first and foremost and treat it with that respect. They work hard, they don't cut corners and they know how to conduct themselves - a really good crew. We are ELATED with the end result of our renovation. It's hard to believe it's the same place - what with several walls removed and beams put in, a new kitchen, 2 new bathrooms, 2 new bedrooms, a new front porch, internal stairs and a massive undercroft retaining and drainage project. We receive so many compliments from friends and neighbours on the transformation as our former ugly duckling home now is quite striking with genuine street appeal and room for our family to grow into it for the next 20+ years. So - if you're looking for a team who are a pleasure to deal with, have integrity and trustworthiness to burn, who treat your home with respect, can guide you through the process and turn your building and renovations dreams into reality then you need look no further. Dan the and IHP team are your guys!! Friends of ours have also done a massive renovation with IHP and are equally ecstatic with their results. We have recommended Dan and IHP to several other friends too who all have nothing but kind words and positives experiences to share. Trust me, you won't regret going with Dan and In-House Projects.

Dan was easy to do business with and his team very friendly. They take pride in their work and and produce a great finished product. Dan offered advice along the way which I found really helpful as there were some things I had not yet considered. He turned up when he said he would and had good communication. I would use In-House Projects again for future renovations.

Dan is an experienced builder who places a strong emphasis on quality. We felt completely comfortable placing our trust in him to guide us through important decisions about our home and he was incredibly patient and generous with his time. We will definitely turn to Dan and his team if we ever need the services of a builder again.
