Attix - Attic ladders & Attic Storage Perth

The Attix team did an amazing job on our fully enclosed attic. Stuart for helping us work out the best solution and answering all my questions. Ben for getting everything sorted with a bit of a curve ball. Ros for keeping us in the loop. And Brett and Beau for doing the hard slog up in the roof space getting the install done. It has opened up so much usable space, the insulation has kept the temps down, and the carpet really gives it such a great finish.

I went with Attix after a friend had hers done and it looked fantastic. They did not disappoint. From Stuart’s assessment and photos to explain where and how big it could be to the excellent communication through text from Ros to the electrician and plumbers and the amazing Caio. Caio was the main installer, very professional, clean, hard working in the 38 degree heat (but hotter in the ceiling). All done and dusted in 3 days with minimal disturbance. Highly Highly recommended this company.

Attix are a wonderful company with great staff. They were extremely professional with their installation, providing a high quality product at a great price. The installer, Armand, and the receptionist, Ros, were lovely to deal with. Don't go past this company if you need this type of service.

I received a job offer in Singapore and was required to leave Perth with only a few weeks notice and had a problem what do I do with all of my belongings? I decided to attempt to get an attic installed and store our families things in there. I got burnt by a attic installer advertising on Facebook that promised me a installation slot and never even showed up for our original appointment which cost me a couple weeks of t valuable time. A work colleague recommended contacting Attix to see if they could assist as they had a good experience with the in the past, I was very fortunate that Attix had an installer who had a slot available just prior to my departure date. Stuart came out and delivered the quote and advised the best spot for installing the attic which happened to be in our garage and also advised how big we should build it to store all of the boxes we had already packed. He was very knowledgeable and gave me some good advice with regards to lighting and ventilation / ladder options. So I paid the deposit to secure the installation slot with the install to occur shortly after. The installer Armand showed up on the time agreed and we discussed the work that would be performed as they would need to cut the power to the house for doing the required electrical mods. I came back from work around lunch time to meet with Armand and see what progress had been achieved. The ladder had been installed and Armand was working on installing more attic flooring. He showed me how to operate the ladder and advised how best to load the -plastic boxes into the attic. I had originally agreed to a 15m2 attic and that would have been sufficient to store all of my boxes but this didn't go all the way to the other end of my garage, i recalled it was only another $190 odd a sqm to make the attic bigger so enquired with Armand about how much bigger the attic would need to be to get to the other end of the garage. It turned out it was only an extra 5 odd sqm so we arranged to build a bigger attic and I was only charged for around 4 sqm as a variation. I am very glad I did this as it meant I could load the boxes easier and can now get at them easily without having to move them all around and have a nice wide clear path down the centre of my attic. The following day Armand returned to finish off the now bigger attic. I gave the attic a good clean out / vacuum to get rid of all the cobwebs That evening we started loading the boxes, it was at that point I was glad I went for the bigger and more elaborate ladder as this meant my 100L boxes could be loaded, in retrospect I should have gone for more 50L storage boxes as they are much easier to load. I had a friend help load everything which was good as I think my wife would have struggled helping me with the bigger boxes but the 50L ones were much easier to manage. In the end we finally got everything loaded the night before we were due to fly to Singapore which was a big relief. In addition the team at Attix offered to install a lock on the attic for me free of charge as I planned to rent the property out and wanted the attic area to be off limits to any potential tenant. I am very grateful to the team at Attix for being able to install a high quality attic for me at short notice, typical lead times I am told are one to two months in the current market. Armand, Stuart, Roz and Ben were a pleasure to deal with and did everything that they said they would. I would recommend Attix to any one needing to have an Attic installed in the Perth area and to beware of companies that advertise heavily on Facebook, employ pressure tactics to get you to sign up with unsolicited messages dropping the price, offering free extras and or telling you they have had a cancellation in your area and have an install spot available etc as I was caught out by this and thankfully Attix were able to help me out at very short notice.

We are very happy with our new roof storage space, complete with sturdy ladder, sound flooring, easy access hatch and a light. It was installed quickly and professionally with a minimum of fuss. I highly recommend Attix - its solved our storage issue admirably!
