Next Level Extensions

We had a great experience with Next Level Extensions. We approached them with plans to extend our 3x1 home into a 4x2, and they were upfront about costs, timelines, and expectations. The project was completed on schedule with minimal disruption – we stayed in our home with 3 young kids throughout. We are still very happy with our extension over a year later and would definitely recommend Next Level Extentions.

We are so appreciative of our experience building with Next Level Extensions. We wanted to expand our 1940s home without losing the charm, and Max delivered. He had a clear vision for how to open up the home while preserving its character — the high ceilings, jarrah floors, and original fireplace were all thoughtfully retained and seamlessly integrated into the new design. Living in the original part of the house during construction could have been stressful, but Eric was incredibly approachable and organised throughout the process. He communicated clearly, kept everything moving smoothly, and made us feel safe and comfortable the entire time. Craig’s eye for detail was also invaluable. Like any project, ours was not without its issues, but he addressed them promptly and with genuine care, ensuring the final result met a high standard. Our extended home now feels cohesive, spacious and welcoming. It functions beautifully for our family of two adults, two kids and a dog — giving us space to be both comfortable and connected. It's so nice to have a house to feel proud of.

We highly recommend Next Level for various reasons. Before contacting them, we consulted an architect to help us with the design. When we reached the Next Level team, our first contact was Max, who is also an architect. He gave us some suggestions to make our project more cost-efficient, which we found extremely valuable. The company was flexible to accommodate our demands. We chose "non-standard'" countertops for the kitchen (recycled wood as in the photo) and for the laundry and bathrooms (recycled glass as in the photo). Craig helped us on the decision of other materials, explaining how different choices would impact the cost of the renovation. Communication during the renovation process was excellent. We decided to live in the house while they were doing the job. Eric would notify us on a daily basis of all that would be done in the next weeks. He would tell us who would come to do what job and at what time. And Eric himself was always present to check the quality of the work. Everyone who works for Next Level is very polite and knowledgeable. We have no words to thank them for transforming our house in such a pleasant place to live.

Yvonne and I started planning an extension for our little 1950s home with a few ideas in mind. As soon as we met Craig from Next Level Extensions, we knew we’d found the right people to work with—he just got what we were after. We had a few meetings with Max, who was great to chat with and started sketching out ideas on the spot. Once we had a rough plan, Craig and Max helped us work through the costs and made sure everything made sense financially. When the build started, Eric came on board to manage things and was on-site every day. All the tradies—from the demolition guys to the painters—were fantastic. They were professional, friendly, and always respectful of our space. Someone was at the house almost every day, and the team did an amazing job working around us while we stayed living in the front of the house. We’ve now doubled the size of our home, and the extension blends perfectly with the original 1950s style. You honestly can’t tell where the old ends and the new begins. We’re absolutely thrilled with how everything turned out. Craig, Max, and Eric took great care of us the whole way through. Nothing was ever a hassle, and we now have the home we always wanted—there’s not a single thing we’d change. Huge thanks to the whole Next Level Extensions team!

After our initial dealings with Max at Next level, we felt that straight away we could trust Next Level to help us. We were happy from the planning to the execution. Craig was able to deal with our questions that we sometimes felt might be a bit silly to ask but he was always very professional, forthcoming with his knowledge and very polite. Eric and all of the rest of the guys on site were all fantastic, any changes we made to our original plans were dealt with very easily. Everything was explained to us very clearly and we can't thank the team enough for their attention to detail and help with everything. Deadlines were met and promises that were made were kept, Next Level are a company which it seems are unlike many currently in the building industry. We chose Next Level to renovate and turn our older home into a coastal retreat. We could not have been happier with the result!
