We are so happy we chose Sertorio after being recommended by a family member who had done an extensive renovation. Bruce the Owner and his Daughter nailed the design that we asked for. They exceeded our expectations and improved our original concept. We had Phil as our Project Manager and he has been absolutely fantastic the whole way through. We chose to paint ourselves so we still have a bit to finish but everything Sertorio did was completed to a high quality. With the small amount of issues that arose along the way from renovating an old house to this new extension there was transparency and problem solving to come up with some amazing results in a tricky build, our house was all out of wack being a 1970s beach shack. My parents are building at the same time as our renovation and they wish they had approached Sertorio first as the double glazing windows and doors that come standard with Sertorio are far superior to their well known builders range.

Sertorio has renovated and existing garage and added a bedroom and bathroom to provide us with a beautiful “Granny flat”. Scott consulted and drew up the plans and was professional, answered every phone call and email and has a wealth of knowledge and understanding about the building industry. Phil was the best ever site supervisor, nothing escapes his eagle eye and the finish product is just truly amazing! They were on time with everything. Their contractors were friendly, accommodating and rendered the highest standard of work. Even Jasmine in the office was always ready to assist with our every payment and paperwork needs. Our experience with Sertorio Homes for our second-story extension was outstanding. From the initial planning and approval stages to the final construction, Bruce and his team exemplified honesty, integrity, collaboration, and professionalism. Bruce took the time to listen and understand our needs and specific requirements to suit our family dynamic with multi-generational living. Their initial estimate and the final contract value was spot on and took out the angst of changes/variations as every little detail was thought and included in the contract with no surprises later. Nikita’s vision, design skills and attention to not only big items but also the minor details resulted in a functional, modern and contemporary design. Jake, our supervisor is a superstar! He communicated the plans clearly, kept us informed of any schedule changes, and worked with us actively to resequencing the works to mitigate any delays and always addressed our concerns. As part of the construction activities were in the winter months and this resulted in water ingress during storms, Jake came out and personally arranged for specialist trades to be on site within the hour and made sure that the issue was fixed, and property was made watertight. He was happy to receive calls during day or even late at night. They made sure all damage caused by storms to our existing property was repaired and restored to an even better condition than before. The tradespeople were respectful, approachable and fantastic to work with. They delivered excellent workmanship, responded promptly to any issues, and always found solutions. They were also mindful that we were living in the house during the construction and tried to be as unobtrusive as possible. Another example of their client focused approach was that they kept the scaffolding (external access to upstairs), skip bins, portable toilets for much longer than any other builder would have so that we didn’t experience any inconvenience as a result of them working on our property. Jake and the team at Sertorio Homes supied a quality build. They listened to what we wanted right from the start. Their price was competitive, without any major price hikes (even through the construction boom - with material increases and major supply issues). All tradesmen used were all high class very experienced tradesmen. Jake was always very responsive throughout the build, and happy to deal with any concerns or issues that came about.
