I had the pleasure of engaging with Distinguished Homes for my build, and the experience was exceptional. They came highly recommended by a friend. I reached out to this friend after having three disappointing experiences with project builders who continually moved the goalposts “selling the dream” but failing to deliver. It was frustrating to realise that many builders are focused on selling you a house, not a home. When I contacted Adrian from Distinguished Homes, I was impressed. Within a couple of hours, I received a call from Adrian himself (the registered builder) who spent considerable time on the phone with me and then invited me to his office for an in-depth meeting. Adrian asked thoughtful questions about what I wanted to achieve, all with the aim of delivering on his promises. The first quotation we received was reasonable, and after adding a few extras, we moved forward. The process was smooth, even during a period of high demand and material shortages. There was always progress on-site, and I was kept informed throughout by the wonderful Freda, who was always available to answer questions and assist during this complex process. David, our site supervisor, was equally helpful communicating clearly and inviting me onsite to review details and ensure we were happy with placements. The trades were excellent, and the result was a beautifully built and finished home that exceeded our expectations. We felt we received outstanding service and a true home—not just a house that everyone involved could be proud of. We are incredibly pleased with the work done by our builder Distinguished Homes. We had high expectations as their reviews and their previous clients recommendation, and they exceeded them at every turn. With 10-15 years of experience, they brought a wealth of knowledge and skill to our project, and it showed in every detail. Although a few minor issues arose with tradesmen along the way, the builder went above and beyond to address and fix everything to an excellent, professional standard. They used high-quality materials and well-known brands, delivering a luxury finish at an exceptionally affordable price. We received seven different quotes, and their pricing was significantly cheaper than the others, yet they delivered a high-end result. Their flexibility in letting us choose items we loved made the process stress-free, and their super friendly approach made us feel like family. Just please have a building inspector involved from the start, just in case, as you are spending hundreds of thousands of dollars, and a $2000 inspection would be a small investment for peace of mind. We couldn’t be happier with the final result and truly appreciate the exceptional experience. Thank you for making our dream home a reality!

We have just completed our home with Distinguished Homes. We had never built before, so didn't know what to expect. We had a dream, but no idea how to bring it to life. We chose Distinguished because we didn’t want to join the queue of a large builder that churns out home after home with no personalisation — and we are so glad we did. The team at Distinguished was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. Through all the changes and adjustments, they just made things happen — nothing was ever too hard. Their attention to detail is exceptional; they pick up on everything, and if something isn’t perfect, they fix it without hesitation. Adrian and Freda are an incredible duo, supported by an equally amazing team. Our supervisor, Dave, was diligent, thorough, and consistent throughout the entire build. Marcus provides exceptional support in the office and is always available if you need to check, change or make an adjustment. These guys have become our friends, and we can’t wait to share many drinks with them in our beautiful new home.

We used Distinguished Homes for an extensive renovation and extension to our circa 1900 timber cottage. I could not recommend them highly enough. The experience was very positive. Communication was open and easy. Adrian, Freda, Kain and the whole team went above and beyond to do a great job for us and keep us informed along the way. We were building at a difficult and unpredictable time (COVID, building & material shortages etc.) but the project was completed in time and on budget. The quality of workmanship was fantastic. There were a number of unexpected things that needed to be repaired in such an old house but Adrian and the team were not fazed by this and took it in their stride. So impressed with the end result and love living in our new house!

Where do I start! I did lots of research on builders before settling on distinguished homes, what made me choose them? Adrian listened, he heard my ideas and he too got inspired to make our dream a reality. From the day we met Adrian and Kane on our block I knew they were the right builders for us. And was I happy we picked them from the planning stage, to earthworks, to slab down to bricks, to roof to finish it was a dream! Every time we visited we were thrilled with the quality of workmanship and the ease of dealing with everyone, we had the delight of having Dave as our site supervisor who we now consider as family. Freda in the office answering all my questions and hunting down my farmhouse sink to the keys being handed over in 9 months. We couldn’t be happier with our home.
