Truly the best in the west!!! You must hire him!!! We recently built a new home and decided to do an additional renovation by closing off the alfresco, adding doors and turning it into a second kitchen (asian family so needed a second kitchen for ‘dirty/oily’ cooking 😄). We’ve dealt with a lot of trades over the past few months, and honestly, Rene has been the best we’ve ever hired. We built our home with Henley (and were happy with the quality), but Rene completely blew us away, he tops Henley by miles. Wish we’d found him earlier to build our house! Rene’s attention to detail, thoroughness and pride in his work really stood out. His communication from start to finish was fantastic. He treated the project like it was his own home, took his time to make sure everything was perfect, and managed all the paperwork and permits for us (including liaising with the architect, engineer and building surveyor). He’s honest, transparent and super easy to work with. Always upfront with costs, gave us options, and was able to organise materials to match our house perfectly. He was onsite most days, checking the workmanship of his trades and keeping us updated every step of the way. The finish on our alfresco kitchen is amazing. Barely any touch-ups needed (which is saying a lot compared to our home build!). We’re so happy with how it turned out and can’t thank Rene enough. Couldn’t recommend him more highly — he’s a rare gem of a builder who truly cares about his work and his clients. Thanks again, Rene, for all your hard work, we absolutely love our new kitchen!

I couldn’t be happier with the work that Rene did on my renovations. From start to finish, Rene went above and beyond to ensure everything was done to perfection. His attention to detail, professionalism, and dedication to quality were truly exceptional. Rene communicated throughout the whole process and was patient and offered valuable suggestions (which I went with) to ensure my renovations were what I envisaged. Rene made sure I was kept up to date with the progress of the renos throughout, letting me know which trades would be on site, what days and what they would be doing. Even though the project ran over the Christmas period, so I was expecting delays, Rene was committed to sticking to the timeline and budget whilst maintaining the highest standard of finish. Rene was more than happy to also work with trades that I referred to him and they have also commented on how accommodating and great he was to work with. The final result exceeded my expectations, and I’ve received so many compliments on the work! Whether you need a small renovation or a large-scale project, I highly recommend Rene at White Key Homes. Rene turned my dream into a reality, and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you Rene for your outstanding work!

Working with Rene from White Key Homes was hands-down one of the best decisions we made during our renovation. From the very first consultation, Rene brought a level of professionalism, transparency, and genuine care that’s rare in the industry. His attention to detail is impeccable—every element of the project was executed with precision and pride. What really stood out was Rene’s communication. Even when we weren’t on site, he kept us updated with progress reports, photos, and thoughtful suggestions. He didn’t just meet expectations—he exceeded them. Rene even re-evaluated the site after the initial quote and revised it down, showing integrity and fairness that’s hard to come by. The workmanship was top-tier, and his team mirrored his standards: respectful, skilled, and efficient. Whether it was a bathroom renovation or a full-scale restoration, Rene approached every task with the same commitment to quality. If you’re looking for a builder who treats your home like his own, Rene is your guy. Highly recommended and would absolutely work with him again.
