We have been in our new house for 2 years and it continues to deliver all aspects of family living and what a home should be. From pre contract through to handover we can't fault Rycon Building Group, they made the building process stress free and the end quality of our home surpassed my expectations. After an exhaustive search we chose to design and build our home with Rycon Building Group because of the great feeling we had during our first meeting with Ryan. From our first meeting to handover, the whole experience has been nothing short of brilliant. Their professionalism, responsiveness and workmanship is first class. Rycon made sure that our expectations were met and even surpassed. All of the trades that Rycon employ are very professional, friendly and great at their craft. The site was always kept clean and they were always approachable with any questions that we had. Building is naturally a stressful process, but Rycon made it as stress free as possible. If we were to build again we would definitely use Rycon Building Group without hesitation.

Rycon has just completed building a house for us which we absolutely love. The team at Rycon provided a comprehensive process and assistance from the start that enabled us to achieve what we wanted. At every step they worked with us from design, selection of materials, fixtures and fittings, construction, and landscaping. We had some unusual electrical wiring requirements and they handled these without any problems. What was very impressive was the quality of all aspects of the build and the team of very dedicated tradesman that work for them. This included preliminary consultations with key trades prior to construction, during construction and handover. Any issues were quickly and easily resolved. We can thoroughly recommend Rycon for anyone wanting a high quality and professional build.

Our family built with Rycon in Mont Albert over 9 years ago. The build was challenging due to the slope in our land, but we were assured by Ryan and the team that they were the right company to do it. After 9 years we are still enjoying the high quality workmanship. Recently we had a small issue. We contacted Chris seeking advice who was very quick to react to the problem. Not only was the problem identified, but Rycon fixed the issue at their cost. We are completely blown away by the quality service, taking responsibility and taking action even after 9 years after handover. Rycon. You have us for life and will only ever build with you again. The KWD team recently completed a home design with Rycon Building Group (RBG) and it proved to be one of our all time favourite projects. Working with Janelle and Ryan McKenzie of RBG was a dream, and we helped them to create their vision for a family home that doubles as a home to take their clients through. It was very important for RBG to design a home that gives their clients a feel for what they can create for them. KWD loved working with Janelle and Ryan to make their vision a reality – sourcing, specifying and supplying many of the hard finishes, internally and externally. From the early briefs on the project it was clear that RBG was very focused on the quality of the materials, the finishes and the workmanship used throughout the property, as well as the warmth, care and attention to detail that makes a house a home. The whole project took over 12 months to complete from the time the plans were approved. Throughout the process we explored new ideas and were inspired to push the boundaries. RBG embraced all of our suggestions even when we pushed them outside of their comfort zone. We really wanted to make it very special so they would attract a new level of buyer, and they trusted us. A boutique builder, RBG allowed KWD to help them take their business to the next level in luxury and design, and we felt honoured to work with such a dedicated and honest team of professionals who strive for excellence in all they do. From the paint colour scheme, stone work, floor and wall tiles to the timber flooring, tap ware, bench tops and joinery, RBG were open and receptive, and excited to create a functional and attractive space that was warm, intimate and inviting. We also really admired the time and effort RBG spent on the landscaping of the property as it is so important to the overall appeal and use of the home. It has been a privilege and a delight to working with Janelle and Ryan, and so satisfying in terms of what we were able to achieve. Rewarding, interesting and enjoyable, this collaboration with RBG was such a success that we very much look forward to working with them on future building projects.
