  I've heard and read of many experiences in regards to how inconvenient, messy and miserable restumping jobs can be as it is a meticulous, labourous foundation work especially on older houses. If only I knew Mahmoud from Reblocking and Underpinning Solutions sooner, I would not have sat and dragged my feet on the idea of restumping my weatherboard house for years! From the first call, to on-site quote, to completion, all in and done in 1 month (and that was because it was Christmas and New Year in between)! No leaving jobs unattended midway. His team was in and out as soon as we agreed to take on the service. Mahmoud came twice and he went under the house to check the condition and provided a throughout and transparent quote before we started. He had all proper paperwork from contracts to certifications of inspections prior and upon completion of job. He and his team was excellent, professional and easy to work with. They came and left on time everyday during the duration of the job and worked through the day without issue and always kept us well informed. It is such a meticulous and labourous job under the house. We didnt need to move out whilst the work is done. They treated the house with care and respected the surrounding of my house and ensure that nothing else will get damage whilst the restumping work is in progress. They cleaned and tidied up the place so well on the final day. Mahmoud explained every process and he took us through every single step. From prepping (which includes cleaning and removing all the rubbish under the house), to removing all old and rotting wooden stumps. He had proper inspections scheduled before and after the concrete stumps went in too. The day when we had to level the house, Mahmoud ensures that we were involved and were part of the process. This was to ensure that we know and are align on how much the house should and can be leveled. During the process, he ensures that the house has the most ideal levelling and at the same time, he and his team were very considerate to ensure minimal cracks and no major damages in the process. We were aware of every cracks and gaps when the house was leveled and he ensures to understand that we have no intention to do a full major house renovation after. Mahmoud takes pride and integrity in his job and ensures that his team are as attentive and considerate as he would be. This was further shown when in the final day of the job, unexpectedly one of the main plumping pipe (which is pretty old) went off whilst they were removing the jacks. He and his team went all the way out, spending extra hours to ensure that they help fix the damage so that I can have running water in the house. They could have just told me to get an emergency plumber and call it a day, but they didn't. Mahmoud knew that It'll be very inconvenient for me and my family and he personally sort it out for me, ensuring the pipe is temporary fixed and running whilst I get quotes to get my entire old plumbing work looked at in the near future. For a MASSIVE job as such, we had the greatest peace of mind and we're so so thankful to have met Mahmoud. I highly recommend his service without a doubt. I can now see through the bottom of my house, literally from one end to the other. The underneath of my house is now well ventilated, CLEAN and I can feel the SOLID foundation!   We recently had our house restumped by Reblocking and Underpinning Solutions and couldn’t be happier with the result. From the outset, Mahmoud’s communication was clear, detailed, and reassuring. He walked us through the scope, explained what we could expect day‑to‑day, and took extra care to show us exactly what he and the team would do. Throughout the job he kept us informed, and on completion he guided us through the finished work so we understood the outcome and any next steps. We felt comfortable and well educated at every stage. Mahmoud is a very honest man and conducts himself with real professionalism. The team mirrored that standard. Punctual, respectful, and tidy every time they were on site. Each day they cleaned up thoroughly and made sure everything was put back as it was. They also went above and beyond by removing old rubbish that had built up under the house, which we hadn’t expected but truly appreciated. The service didn’t end at handover, Mahmoud called a week later to check in and confirm we were happy. That level of follow‑up really sets them apart. We wholeheartedly recommend Reblocking and Underpinning Solutions, quality workmanship backed by excellent communication and genuine care.

  I've recently had my 1960s brick veneer place in Fawkner restumped by Mahmoud and his team. An outstanding result. Mahmoud communicates promptly and thoroughly, providing answers to every question. The job was done quickly, cleanly, and well. This is a business that offers a fair price and does not try to gouge on price. I asked to keep the old stumps for firewood - no problem. And then Mahmoud calls me a week later to see if I wanted more. Highly recommended!

  Like a lot of the reviews here I had a lot of hesitation and concern about finding the right people to restump my house but Mahmoud put all of that anxiety to rest. When I had purchased by 1950’s house restumping had been listed as top priority by the building inspector. I sought out a number of quotes and out of all the builders contacted Mahmoud was the one that showed the most genuine concern and interest in the job. When others weren’t prepared to bother even talking with me on the phone, instead just sending automated quotes out of their computer system, Mahmoud instead had an open and honest dialogue about the state of the stumps and what needed to be done, showing me where the problems were, and was more than happy to wait while I got my finances in order to kick off the work. Mahmoud’s team were upmost professionals and went above and beyond, even taking some time when waiting for the concrete truck to adjust the doors in my house that had gone out of alignment during the levelling. Probably one of the best experiences I’ve had with a tradesman I can think of, would wholeheartedly recommend the honesty and integrity of Mahmoud and his crew.

  Mahmoud and his team did an amazing job on my very wonky, old weatherboard cottage in Clifton Hill. It was a very challenging site, with the subfloor completely filled with rubble and dirt and rotting timber. After the restumping the house is level, walls are straight, cracks have closed and the house will now last for many more years. The team worked quickly and efficiently and I highly recommend them to others needing this type of work done.

We obtained a number of quotes and ultimately chose Mahmoud because we felt we could genuinely trust him and were confident in the quality of his workmanship.
