  Mitch and his team are truly excellent. Having had the pleasure of working with Mitch on various carpentry projects across the course of the last year, I’ve been consistently impressed by his meticulous attention to detail. Mitch is an absolute stickler for quality. He hand cut with a jigsaw our new decorative wood so that it would precisely match the existing rotted wood. He had to put up a ‘temp board’ (and mark it as such) because he didn’t want to leave the wood exposed but also didn’t want people to think that he’d left it in that state. On more than one occasion, he has taken the time to walk me through his work, explaining the reasoning behind why he has done something in a particular way. For example, when working on the awning, he explained how he has made the wood slightly unlevel so that it would accommodate the natural slope of our house and to avoid replacing the fascia which had chipped away slightly. I’d absolutely not have noticed unless he called it out. But that’s really who Mitch is, he’s an expert, a perfectionist and transparent.
