As an architectural practice, we always seek out the best builders—those we can trust, collaborate with, and who can bring our vision to life for our clients. After a thorough tender process for the Beaumaris project, Durance Construction was selected, and it proved to be an outstanding decision. With over 20 years in the industry, we can confidently say that Durance Construction is the most professional building company we have worked with. Their craftsmanship is exceptional, their attention to detail unmatched, and their commitment to quality evident in every stage of the build. Throughout the two-year project, they were transparent, communicative, and proactive—asking the right questions, offering thoughtful solutions, and working seamlessly with our detailed designs. We would wholeheartedly recommend Durance Construction to any of our clients and look forward to collaborating with them again.

As an aluminium windows and doors supplier, We first started working with Durance Construction 6 years ago. From day one, James, Richard and their team stood out for their professionalism and the pride they take in their work. Every site we’ve been on has been well organised, with clear communication that makes our job easier and ensures the best result for the client. It’s rare to find a builder who is both easy to work with and uncompromising on quality, but Durance Construction has consistently delivered on both. We’re proud to be one of their long-term partners and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Durance Constructions, the wonderful father and son team, Richard and James on a recently completed Beaumaris project. I can’t speak highly enough of them. They are an absolute delight to work with; accommodating, considerate, and always willing to discuss options to find the best solution. Nothing is ever too hard or too much trouble. Their entire team is respectful, professional, and genuinely lovely to have on site. The quality of their work and the positive attitude they bring to each project makes them a dream collaboration partner. I’m very much looking forward to working with them on many more projects in the future! Melissa Balzan Melissa Balzan Design
