We couldn’t be more thrilled with Chris’ work on our bathroom. Compared to other places that quoted in 10 minutes, Chris spent an hour with us going through each of our requests/ideas and giving us honest feedback and really smart suggestions based on his experience. He was also upfront with realistic costs and gave us an agreed price (that he ended up coming in under). The end result is absolutely stunning! Chris’ workmanship and attention to detail are spot on, communication is great and the fact he manages and does the job himself means from a client perspective he is super easy to work with, and the work is consistent and quicker than multiple trades coming and going. Would absolutely use Chris again, and highly recommend Room For Improvement.

A really well finished, functional and practical contemporary bathroom. Very happy that we selected Room For Improvement - Chris guided us through options and the selection of materials, tiles, tap-ware, toilet and shower hardware. Chris set a three week timeframe and met that timeline while dealing with all unexpected issues . Chris turned up on time and was extremely communicative during the entire process taking time to happily respond to all questions and keeping us informed of progress and next steps/pieces of work, and undertaking additional work. Chris has produced an extremely high quality of work and is clearly an experienced builder and problem solver.

Chris was very helpful by providing lots of good ideas for the reconfiguration and renovation of our bathrooms. He helped us with selection of our tap ware, floor and wall tiles tiles, vanities, toilet ware - and also with the complete refit of our new laundry. He met with us at the bathroom and tile showrooms to assist with selection. He arrived on time as he said and his attention to detail is second to none. We would highly recommend Chris for your bathroom renovations.

I had Room for Improvement replace my entire Kitchen & Bathroom in my apartment in Port Melbourne. Chris did a fantastic job, and worked in well with our building regulations I need to abide by. I had three trades people to quote on the renovations and only Chris gained my trust and confidence that he could do this correctly and provide the finish i was looking for. I was not disappointed. Because he had to totally gut the existing flooring and walls, he did find some irregularities with both floor and walls sloping badly , however he was able to work miracles with realigning everything and i just left him to make the decisions on the best way forward each time he was presented with a problem. I can highly recommend Chris for his care of others property, cleanliness and the ability to go the extra mile to achieve a great result.

We selected Room For Improvement after a Google search and many quotes. Chris did an amazing job guiding us through a complete bathroom renovation for our Mum who is 83yo and recently had a fall and wanted to remain independent in her home. Chris provided many great product suggestions including types of non-slip surfaces and grab rails to choose suited to someone of Mum's age. Chris was meticulous with his work and remained on time and on budget throughout the entire renovation and left the place spotless after completion. Chris was brilliant. His professional approach along with innovative ideas created a stunning bathroom that has changed my life for the better. His tiling is without fault. I found him trustworthy, punctual, a good communicator and completed the fully bathroom renovation (with its complexities) well within the set timeline.
