Michael has undertaken renovation projects for me in both North Melbourne and Fairfield. The works have always been completed to high standards and always on schedule. Michael is a true professional and one of the most honest tradespeople I have come across. Michael can always be relied on to deliver on expectations and providing valuable advice and solutions when things don’t always go to plan! I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending Michael for any building or renovation project.

Michael is utmost professional and conscientious in his work. He is honest and sincere and only gives advice that is best for our needs. He treats our house like his own. He would bargain with the suppliers to get us the best deal. His workmanship is second to none. Michael has many great ideas and a classy eye for bathroom fixtures and fittings, styles and colours. He goes through every little issue with us to make sure that we understand and make the right decision. Michael and his apprentice, Matthew, are the two most quiet and polite builders I’ve ever met. They are so neat and tidy and clean up at the end of each day. No rubbish lying around, not a speck of dirt. The budget Michael prepared for us was spot on and the timeline was accurate. Given the COVID-19 situation, I was amazed that the timeline wasn’t required to be extended. We are so happy with the end results. I think we have found our builder for life.

Avant Building Group and Michael were amazing across the building of our house in Lower Plenty. From start to finish, they were skilled, communicative, consultative, flexible and friendly. We got exactly what we wanted, including some changes along the way which they were happy to accommodate. I highly recommend Michael and his teams for any new build or renovation.

We just had our home renovations completed by Mike and his contractors, in particular the quality of the kitchen, pantry and laundry cabinets were superb. His painter, tilers, electrician and flooring guys also did a great job. Overall, Mike was a great all-rounder, managed his trades well and was always problem-solving on the go. He's very down-to-earth and we know he does his best getting us reasonable prices on variations to scope or extras. Would definitely recommend Mike and his team to anyone searching for a trustworthy builder.
