Update on my review below: the works are now complete and I am pleased with what Paul has done. He was always easy to contact throughout. He was very busy with other jobs but still managed to fit mine in and complete it in a reasonable timeframe. I would highly recommend Paul to anyone. Review of June 2019 follows: Paul's customer service is exceptional. When he came to do the first quote he spent a whole hour at my property making sure he understood my needs. Unlike some builders, Paul charges for quotes (only about $100 which he said will come off the final bill), but it's worth it because he put a lot more effort and detail into the quote than the other builders I met with, and he is a very reliable, communicative and approachable person. He listened to my needs and my budget and did his best to come up with a plan of action that was within my budget, including making suggestions and advice on how to make it cheaper. He has also put up with me over several months' delay caused by my body corporate's rejection of our first proposal, and he hasn't charged me for the significantly amended second quote that was then required. The works haven't started yet but I have absolute confidence that Paul will do the job professionally and won't rip me off. I will make another review once the work is done in Aug/Sep 2019.

The initial repair job I had for Paul was a tricky one, but he came up with a great solution. In fixing the problem, he was resourceful and recycled some materials I already had (which saved the time that would have been spent fetching materials). Being very happy with the outcome, I asked him to do some further repair work for me, with which I am also very happy. Paul was very obliging, efficient and professional. I would recommend him without hesitation.

As a couple who had zero renovation experience the thought of renovating our house was mind boggling, Paul made us feel at ease and kept us well informed throughout the entire process. His work is quality and next to none, we are super impressed with the finished product and would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Paul built my house on a difficult/steep block. We were well informed during the whole process and the finish/quality of the build was exceptional. Afterwards we commissioned Paul again for some carpentry/joinery work. It was only a week’s work but he was obliging and did a magnificent job utilising his previous carpentry skills.

I can highly recommend Paul Westwood as a person with integrity, honesty and a practical common sense approach to building. He pays attention to detail from conception plans to completion of the project and provides support and advice throughout the build. I was impressed by his knowledge and great communication skills.
