  We recently built our first home with Ray and Jan at Sungold Constructions and it was a thoroughly positive experience. Ray and Jan picked up our build (after our first two builders liquidated) and did everything they could to help maintain the original vision for our home while minimising costs and without compromising quality. We cannot speak highly enough of the workmanship and attention to detail provided by Ray or Jan’s dedicated, personal and down-to-earth service. They patiently guided us through every step of the construction process and made us feel like genuinely valued customers. While our siblings’ builds (through other builders) have been plagued with administrative, engineering and quality errors, we have absolute confidence in the quality and longevity of our build. We were impressed to often see Ray onsite, personally supervising every stage of our construction to ensure it was completed on schedule and per our specifications. Jan was reachable via phone and email at any hour of the day and diligently ensured our paperwork and approvals were completed quickly and accurately. We never felt as though any part of our build was delayed through their actions (or lack there-of), as was the experience of our siblings. Our build was affordable, of significantly high quality and included everything a home could possibly need. Where other builders cut out “non-essentials” such as turf, security screens, blinds or letterboxes in an attempt to keep costs low, Sungold’s quote for our property included all of these things for near-identical prices. Their service model is no-frills and straight to business. They don’t waste time and money on the marketing ploys used by many big builders and instead direct that energy into producing superior homes at reasonable prices, within justifiable time frames. Ray and Jan’s determination to provide us with an outstanding home and their dedication to providing legitimate peace of mind throughout construction is considerable. I have and will continue to recommend Sungold Constructions to my friends and family for any construction project and would enthusiastically urge other first home builders to choose Sungold to build their homes.

Would 100% build with them again and plan to in the future.. our home was completed in a reasonable timeframe and is of really high quality.
