This was the first time we had tackled a large renovation project and we fully expected it to be a stressful and time consuming undertaking - but Steve and his team made the process so easy, and really took the mental load for the whole project. There were always going to be surprises when renovating a 100 year old Queenslander, but we were never told about any of these challenges without Steve first having a number of proposed solutions for us, always with our timeline and budget in mind. We always knew what was going on and Steve was always available to discuss the project with us. We are so grateful to his whole team for making the process so smooth and enjoyable, and their attention to detail and workmanship that delivered us our dream home.

I initially booked three companies to give me a quote for renovating three Barth rooms (and other small jobs in the house). Steve was the first person to come on-site. After briefly chat with him, I decided to cancel all other appointments. It is because I found Steve is very professional, a great communicator, and an honest person. He provides useful ideas and solutions to my requirements as I have one Barth room that needs to be done as wheel-chair accessible (must meet OT requirements), but I don't want it to looks like a hospital bathroom. He came up with a flexible plan that in future, we could easily transform the bathroom into a modern bathroom when wheel-chair access is no longer needed. I also found Steve has great design taste, knowing what's in trend and what to do to add value to your house. I have entirely left all the "worries" to him; the only thing I did was to choose the colours. Now the work has completed; I am more than happy with the result. Steve still calls in to check if there were any small defects to get his team coming to fix them. This shows Steve runs a genuine business, not cutting corners.
